I think that this movie sort of perfectly encapsulates because of Luca's masterful understanding

of base, core, elemental, human emotions.

The first time you fell in love.

The first time you opened yourself up and honestly presented yourself to someone and

had it received and then reciprocated in such a beautiful way.

It's about a love story, and it's about being capable of feeling, completely connected with

your own desire.

The friendship had its origin in this really tremendously intimate experience that we had

from the get-go of knowing one another.

Once you're in front of the camera together and once you're onstage together, then you're,

like, then you're in it together.

Especially naked together.

Especially naked together.

It's young Bach.

He dedicated it to his brother.

It was very simple, I think, in the doing of it, which I think is the key, which Luca

was wise enough to guide me.

It was a moving experience.

You can sit through this and remember the first time they had an experience like this,

because this is a very human story.

This isn't about anything other than basic human emotions, and I think that's what people

are responding to.
