Eyes 眼睛相關
我的眼皮一直在跳 → My eye keeps twitching.
Twitch [twɪtʃ] (v.)(n.) 使抽動, 使痙攣; 抽動, 刺痛
She felt the twitch(n.) of her own wound.
她感覺到傷口的抽痛。
補充：
單眼皮＝single eyelid, 雙眼皮＝double eyelid
翻白眼 → Roll one’s eyes (at someone)
Don’t roll your eyes at me!
不准對我翻白眼！
色瞇瞇/ 拋媚眼 → Make eyes at＝Give the glad eye
I saw her making eyes at her boyfriend in the classroom.
我看到她在向她男友拋媚眼。Tim gave me the glad eye last night in the party.
Tim昨晚在派對上色瞇瞇的看著我。
目光呆滯 → Glassy-eyed
A glassy-eyed heroin addict was caught in the park.
一個雙眼無神的海洛英毒蟲在公園被逮到了。
(睡眠不足的)黑眼圈 → Dark circles
I tried very hard to get rid of those dark circles.
我非常盡力得試著把那些黑眼圈弄掉。
補充：
一般我們指的黑眼圈不能說是black eyes喔！black eyes是指因為打架而形成的「黑眼圈」。
眼屎 → Eye discharge＝“Sleep” in your eyes
When you’re asleep, eye discharge collects and crusts in the corners of your eyes, hence the term “sleep in your eyes.”
當你睡覺時，你的眼屎會堆積起來並且在你的眼頭積成硬硬的外殼，因此它也被稱為“sleep in your eyes” 。
Nose 鼻子相關
拔鼻毛 → Pluck nose hair
Sometimes I see my father having fun plucking his nose hair.
有時候我會看到我爸爸拔鼻毛拔得挺開心。
挖鼻屎 → Pick one’s nose
Picking your nose at the meeting is impolite.
在會議中挖鼻屎很沒禮貌。
補充：
鼻屎＝booger
聽聽看鼻屎怎麼發音：
流鼻涕 → Runny nose
I have a sore throat and runny nose.
我喉嚨痛還有流鼻涕。
擤鼻涕 → Blow one’s nose
Please don’t blow your nose on the tablecloth.
請不要用桌巾擤鼻涕。
補充：
鼻涕＝snot = mucus
Having a cold makes my snot yellow.
感冒讓我鼻涕變成黃色的。
打噴嚏 → Sneeze
Sneeze [sniz] (n.)(v.) 噴嚏；打噴嚏
Her face wrinkles when she is about to sneeze.
她的臉在她快打噴嚏時皺了起來。
鼻塞 → Stuffy nose＝Stopped-up nose
My nose is usually stopped up at night. = I usually have a stuffy nose at night.
我晚上通常會鼻塞。
Mouth嘴巴相關
打呵欠 → Yawn
Yawn [jɔn] (n.)(v.) 呵欠；打呵欠
He stretched himself with a yawn.
他伸懶腰打了個呵欠。
口臭 → Bad breath
My neighbor has bad breath.
我鄰居有口臭。
補充：
1. 注意bad breath前不能加冠詞 (a/an, the) 唷！
2. 口氣清新＝fresh breath
磨牙 → Bite one’s teeth = Grind one’s teeth
Grind [graɪnd] (v.) 摩；摩擦聲
My roommate grinds his teeth every night!
我的室友每晚都在磨牙！

嘴巴破洞 → Canker sore
Canker [ˋkæŋkɚ] (n.)(v.) 潰瘍；使潰瘍
My mother always treats a canker sore with salt.
我的母親總是用鹽巴對付嘴巴的破洞。
打嗝 → Hiccup
Hiccup [ˋhɪkəp] (v.)(n.) 打嗝；嗝
When you have hiccups, drink a glass of cold water.
你不停打嗝的話就喝杯冷水吧。
補充：
造成連續hiccup的原因可能是吃東西太快或是呼吸不順，
若是吃太飽而形成的嗝稱為burp，一樣可作為動詞兼名詞。
其他
挖耳朵 → Pick one’s ear＝Clean one’s ear
Most people clean their ear with Q-tips.
大多數人用棉花棒清耳朵。
補充：
1. Q-tips為美國棉花棒品牌，通常用來代指棉花棒(cotton swabs)
2. 耳屎＝Ear wax
酒窩 → Dimple
Dimple [ˋdɪmp!] (n.)(v.)小凹洞，漣漪；起漣漪
Two dimples(n.) appear on her cheeks when she smiles.
她微笑時臉頰上出現了兩個酒窩。
擠痘痘 → Pop a pimple
I tried really hard not to pop this pimple on my nose.
我很努力得不去把鼻子上的痘痘擠掉
補充：
1. 青春痘 = pimple = zit
2. 粉刺 = acne
3. 痘痘臉 = pizza face
