We made a video about this before and talked about how there are a lot of cherry blossom trees around here, and we didn't get to see them. So today we're going to finally see the cherry blossoms. So I'm super excited to be here! J: Wanna say hi to the old man over there? The Kiyosu Castle man. R: The Kiyosu Castle man? J: With the face. R: OH. The castle! Japanese castles look like people. I don't know why. J: I wanna do this. R: That looks nice. These trees up here are actually ume. They're not sakura. They have a deeper pink color. They're so pretty! So pretty! I want ume! I'd rather have ume than sakura trees, actually. They're so pretty. Hi! Hi there! J: Sorry, I don't- Oh, I have breadcrumbs but I don't think I should feed you. R: No, you probably shouldn't. They're so cute. JUN look how big those koi are!! Omg. J: Hey. R: Yeah? J: Over there. R: OMG what is that?? J: Nutria. (Stranger) Oh, there it is! (Stranger) A river otter?! (Stranger) Oh, it has legs. (Stranger) It came out of the water. R: Let's get something to eat. I want cotton candy! J: Cotton candy? That's not going to fill you up. R: This is so lovely! Can you imagine having festivals like this in America? We don't have festivals like this with cherry blossom everywhere. This is gorgeous! BUTTERED POTATOES (Stranger) Here you go! And your change. J: Thank you. R: Jun bought something. What did you buy? J: For you, an "American dog." R: (gasp) YES Yes!! J: American dog... It's not called an American dog in English. What's it called? Corn dog? R: Corn dog. J: Corn dog. R: Because it's cornbread with a hot dog. J: I see... R: What is it? J: Gohei mochi. It's made of mochi. R: Is that soy sauce? J: Yep. It's sweet. R: How is it? J: Delicious. R: Great! J: The cherry blossoms are pretty... Nevermind. R: Omg, okay. So they have no trash cans here at all. J: Of course not! R: Wow. J: I guess it fell down. But it's still blossoming! R: Yeah! It's perfect for pictures! Let's take a picture! It's insanely amazing that they can tell people to take their trash home, and they do. J: Oh? R: It's really nice that Japanese people are so polite and conscientious. J: Well, some people litter. But yeah, taking trash home is just normal here. R: I hope you enjoyed this little trip to see the cherry blossoms here at Kiyosu Castle! Bye! So pretty.
