We're the Slow Mo Guys,

and we are incredibly...on edge right now.

Yeah...

I'm nervous! -Why are you nervous?

Well it's not just because I'm about to jump into a load of mousetraps...

it's because I don't want them to go off before I do... - Yeah!

This took hours! We spent four hours doing this.

We've had a couple of calamities...

NOOO!

What even happened? How did that do it?

Was it one I was pushing?

I don't know, I couldn't see.

But now Dan is ready to leap from that ladder

on to the trampoline,

full of, I would assume like a thousand mousetraps.

I think there is about a thousand we have done now...

Someone can freeze-frame and count, lets get out the way.

Alright, good luck counting!

Dan? - Yeah. - You ready?

Yeah I just want to get on with it! Lets go!

Good luck. -Thank you very much, sir.

I did offer to do it thought didn't I?

But I didn't want to mess up the button trigger, I didn't want that responsibility.

Gav: Oh god...

I don't think there could possibly be a jankey-er table to jump off of.

This is like... horrendous.

I'm ready to go into the mousetraps, B. - Okay

Are you ready? - Yeah.

Woah!!

Aah!

*laughs* - Dan: Agh! It's in my hair!!

Gav: Oh my God! *laughs*

Dan: ...God!

Flip!

Gav: How was that?

I think they all went off!

Dan: I think so! Gav: I think it all went off!

Dan: Goodness me. - Gav: It's actually got it in your hair!

Gav: Wait...

Gav: Where did the goggles go?

I didn't put them on? - Gav: You didn't put the goggles on?

I forgot! - Gav: You're a maniac!

I was too excited! - Gav: Oh God!

I just sort of closed my eyes and hoped.

Gav: We had them, where were they?

Gav: Oh, they're on here!

Dan: Oh, I got too excited!

Gav: Did that hurt?

Well I just got little nips all over my body.

It wasn't like anything really painful, it was actually kind of comfy.

The main thing was falling onto the trampoline to be honest.

...I'll just keep this here now...

Oh man, did they all go off?

Gav: I think they all went off.

That one didn't. Shall we see how many need to go off?

Gav: *laughs* - Dan: I think they all went off!

Look at that, you can tell I gave it my all!

Dan: That is dodgy...

Gav: You almost Captain Video'd yourself...

Dan: What? I almost like... yeah, yeah... *laughs*

Gav: Look at that!

Gav: Woah... - Dan: I wasn't worried, I just went for it.

Gav: That was a tremendous performance and I can't believe...

You did it without goggles but...

Dan: Yeah I know, I just got too... I just wanna do it on our first go.

Dan: At this point, my fate is sealed.

Gav: Yeah, it's one of those things where it's like,

Dan: There's nothing I can do.

Gav: It was at this point, that he knew he made a mistake... - Dan: *laughs*

Gav: Oh, you're in. Your hands are in!

Dan: Oh man. - Gav: You're like going through them!

Dan: All of them like stayed still, and then

Gav: Woah! - Dan: Oh man.

Gav: WOAH my God!

Dan: They all started from the outside and went in!

Gav: So cool, it looked like a speaker cone! - Dan: Yeah!

Gav: Look at that crumpled heap!

Dan: All flown up in the air now, everything bounces back.

Gav: That was tremendous, B!

Dan: My legs are still up in the air still by now...

Gav: That was class!

Gav: I look like some mysterious silhouette man.

Dan: Yeah you haven't unlocked your character yet.

Gav: So, I realise I did the intro wearing a cowboy hat and I didn't mention the cowboy hat...

Which means the audience thinks I thought I could pull off a cowboy hat.

Dan: Yeah, you definitely can't. - Gav: I know.

Gav: In reality, it was sunny and I was trying to wear a hat, and this is my new favourite hat.

Dan: This is my new favourite hat. Gav: It's quite good actually.

Gav: I thought that footage was tremendous.

We actually had the perfect amount of mousetraps

to visualise that sort of inward chain reaction.

Dan: You would have never have guessed that either. - Gav: No!

Dan: Because we covered every square inch with a mousetrap we could see the exact reaction.

Gav: And in real time, because I was so like, adrenaline and frantic about them all going off by accident

...which they did while I was setting them up.

I didn't really pay attention to what order it all happened in. I didn't even see it

Dan: I think afterwards, you pushed the button and then you were panicking because you were like,

Have we, have we got everything?

Gav: Did we get it? *laughs*

Dan: Because that was the biggest amount of effort, I mean that was probably like an hour per second of footage.

Gav: It took four hours

to set it up and we recorded four seconds. Dan: Yeah, so an hour per second.

Gav: Thankfully, our camera can stretch one second into several minutes.

Dan: Makes it worthwhile I guess. - Gav: We're using the right camera.

Gav: Phew! Well that was quite short and sweet,

but hopefully you enjoyed it!

I always like those like simple ideas.
