What I hope I have here is an original disintegrator gun

from the "Buck Rogers" series.

I won it in a poker game.

I took it as part of a payment for debt.

So what does this gun do?

I'm pretty sure it disintegrates people.

The gun looks like it's pretty futuristic.

It's got all these swirly things on it and it's metal.

It looks definitely like it could be from the future.

I'm hoping to get at least $100, because that's

what the debt was for.

But I honestly would probably take

just about anything since I don't want to keep the gun

myself.

You know, this was pretty much the start

of like, modern science fiction right here.

Do you know what "Buck Rogers" is about?

Yeah, it's about those kids on a Ferris wheel,

and they get like, time warped back to the dinosaurs.

So they got to escape, but they got to find

a new black hole to get out.

That's not at all--

I've never even heard of that story.

I remember he was in a war, was put into a coma for 700 years.

And then somehow wakes up in another war.

Do you know any more?

I think there was some sort of gas,

and just put him in suspended animation,

and then he wakes up in the future,

but doesn't realize it's the future.

All right.

Obviously, I wasn't around in the 30s,

but I know Buck Rogers is one of the most popular

characters from that era.

I'm sure any of the merchandise from his show

is really valuable, and I'm not sure how valuable.

So what do you want to do with it?

I would like to sell it.
