Now, what do we need to cover during this tutorial?

Well, the first thing is, we need to make sure the you demonstrate the following skills and qualities during your answers to your band six nurse interview.

These are demonstrating an ability to provide and facilitate exceptional levels of patient care at all times.

Also an ability to focus on delivering the N H two n.

H s.

Trust values in everything that you do.

And I strongly recommend you download a copy off the N.

H s trust values.

You're applying for a new read them and recite them during your answers to the interview questions.

Also an ability to perform and concentrate under pressure, being able to deal with difficult incidents and situations whilst And this is important following your training on the operational guidance and procedures and also working collaboratively is part of the wider N.

H s team to deliver on the ward or departmental objectives.

So those are the things that we need to focus on during your preparation for your band.

Six.

Nurse interview.

So let's get straight into those band six nurse interview questions and answers here we go questionable.

Tell me about yourself and why you will make a competent nurse within this N.

H s position.

So it's pretty much guaranteed to be the first question.

Join your band.

Six.

Nurse into you.

Tell me about yourself, but we're going to expand that an answer with why you'll make a competent nurse within this particular position.

Here's my suggested answer.

Being someone who is passionate about the application of effective clinical practice and also being determined to deliver the highest standards of patient care.

I feel a role of a band.

Six.

Nurse is a perfect match for my experience, my interpersonal skills and also my future career plans.

I am someone who very much enjoys their job, and having the ability to make a positive impact to people's lives is something that gives me much satisfaction.

I will make a competent nurse because I understand the values of the senators.

Trust on I will work extremely hard to embed them in everything that I do.

Finally, apart from being confident in my own abilities and also being resilient in difficult, challenging situations, I'm an excellent team worker.

I have outstanding communication skills and I will always act with honesty, integrity and loyalty whilst performing my duties as a nurse.

So that's a strong.

It's a confident and positive answer to that first band.

We assume you have read the job description for a band.

Nurse.

What do you expect to be doing on a day to day basis within the role?

So basically, this assesses your understanding of the job descriptions or gain.

Make sure you get a copy of the job description, but this is my generic answer based on a band six.

Nurse job description.

Here we go.

Yes, I read the job description in detail on I will be required to assist the charge nurse with all of their duties, including ensuring care is provided to the highest standards possible at all times.

In line with the N H and H S Trust's values.

I will also be required to provide specialist knowledge and advice to both junior medical staff of nurses, work within the set boundaries of clinical governance, maintain stuff records, facilitate training courses and programs for staff on, also assess and evaluate levels of patient care in conjunction with the wards, aims and objectives.

I will also be required to collect data and information to help improve patient care.

The sister with managing the delegated budget follow all health and safety rules and manual handling regulations.

Act as a mentor and assessor to junior members of the medical team and always act as a positive role model whilst maintaining optimum proficiency in all of my duties as a band.

So if you use that answer during your interview thing again, you're gonna come across as professional.

You're knowledgeable, and you know exactly what you'll be required to do with in the job description for Band six.

That's ever look at another question.

Tell me both your strengths and weaknesses and how they will impact on your role as a band six nurse.

Now, obviously, there is a possibility that you will get asked two questions separately.

What do you strength somewhat your weaknesses, but I've combined them into one particular question to help you.

So the question is, tell me.

But if your strengths, the weaknesses and how they will impact on your role as a band six nurse, here we go.

In respect of my stretch, these are many and varied.

However, in particular, I am a great team worker who understands the N.

H s trust values admission that they can't be achieved singlehandedly.

It's important that I worked as part the wider team in order to collaboratively achieve the objectives off the organization.

I'm also someone who will always follow rules and procedures and can be relied upon to remain calm in extremely difficult situations.

On every one of my key strengths is my adaptability within my position as a nurse and also my willingness to embrace change positively.

The N.

H s is changing all of the time, and it's important that we as a team unit embrace changes with a positive attitude.

Now, in respect of my weaknesses, I would have to say it's my unwillingness to say no to additional work at times, even when I don't have the capacity to take on extra duties now.

In the past, I sometimes have taken on too much work, and this is simply added to the natural stresses of the role.

Having said that, I am someone who always wants to help out, and I will do all I can to help the medical team, the water organization, as on when needed.

So that's a really good response.

And I believe that weakness is a safe weakness.

If ever there was one, because you're not saying my weaknesses, I don't like to work with other people, or I struggle to follow rules and procedures, which could do you harm in your application for this position of band six.

Let's move on to next question while the six seas for nursing.

And if you had to choose one of them as being the most important, which one would it be?

So what are the six seas for nursing?

And if you had to choose one of them as being the most important, which one would you choose?

Here is my suggestion.

Answer.

The sixth season Nursing are designed to be used collaboratively to ensure the high standards of care and treatment are always maintained.

The sixties are care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment.

Now, whilst I feel they are all is important as each other, if I had to choose one of them, it would have to be competence.

Competence is doing everything professionally, diligently and in line with the required training rules and procedures.

And on that basis, honors could not confirm perform his or her duties without competence, which would effectively mean the remaining five seas would become redundant.

So you might have your own view on which one is the most important.

But that would be from my own personal opinion.

Next question.

What you understand by the term clinical governance so clever.

No clinical governance is obviously really important respect of being a proficient, incompetent nurse.

Here's my suggested answer.

Clinical governance is a framework that ensures the N.

H s trustees accountable in respect of the quality of service it provides and for also ensuring the safeguarding of standards.

Treatment in care the framework is so desired is to ensure the relevant standards are maintained at all times.

Within the environment.

Staff are operating within.

It is the responsibility of all members of Benicio staff to work within the framework.

And if anyone has any concerns in relation to the endurance to the framework, they must report them to a senior member off staff.
