Good morning, guys.
It is the last day of my trip.
I'm just packing up my stuff and getting ready to leave the campsite.
But do you want to cram in a couple more spots before I leave Today?
I don't have to catch a train from Oita Station until about 3 p.m. And it's 9 a.m. right now, so that gives me a few hours to go to a couple of spots that I've been looking at.
Do you want to go to a meeting?
Lucky.
So I can try and get some local snacks to bring back with me.
And I'm looking into going to a cave.
Was planning on going to do send okay of when we went on our northern Japan road trip.
But all the guys voted against it, so I didn't get to go.
But apparently this area has the longest, uh, limestone cave in Japan.
Looks really cool, some hoping I'll be able to make it there.
And I've heard that Mount Own Tuck is really beautiful.
And apparently you can park somewhere not too far from the summit, and you can climb up to the summit in just about 10 minutes and get a really cool view of the entire area from up there.
So, yeah, that's the plan for today.
We're gonna see how much we can fit in.
Not quite sure I don't want to miss my train, because if I miss that, I will miss my flight because there are not too many trains coming out of this area.
They don't come very often, but yeah, let's get moving.
So I popped down Thio the Michi No, icky, actually.
Really close by to the lodge.
If you use their electric bikes, you could get there.
And probably about 20 minutes, Max, probably when you take that long.
And I asked the staff what their most popular Omega souvenirs are here.
And this is what we should be.
So this is called Uta Machi like, um oci pancake.
I've never seen these before.
This one's made with sweet potato.
And this one's made with your Mogi.
Not sure that is in English.
I'll look it up and put a subtitle.
Kind of got, like, a grassy, earthy flavor to it, but they're still warm.
And I've never seen these before, so I'm interested to see what these taste like.
And then their most popular waas.
This suck a Monday do.
Apparently there's no alcohol in it, but it's made with Koji that we saw the sucky shop yesterday.
These air still warm as well.
They're freshly made.
They've got red bean paste in the middle.
I've got so many things to try.
And then I had to get this because this is one of my favorite things in Japan to drink.
This is on the bucket.
But this area is famous for peaches.
So they had a peach on those lucky drink again.
This is non alcoholic, but look similar.
Tow the sake that we're looking at yesterday really like Chunky and Vic.
I love it If you've never had a massage.
Okay, When you come to Japan, please try and find a place that serves it because it's a very original flavor fermented rice drink.
It's got a really sweet taste so creamy and sweet.
It's really so that is my Kyoko Michi no likey food hall.
Remember, in Hokkaido, I told you that meat, you know, lucky always have, like an original ice cream flavor.
Well, the ice cream flavor of this beachy doohickey is green pepper.
I don't know what I think of that.
Alex has had it and he said It's not that bad.
I could do it.
Fortunately, they're not open.
So we're safe.
We've come to own Tuck a next mount own Tuck.
And we were able to park the car almost near the top of the mountain.
And we're just gonna hike up the final stretch through this gate here.
It's really cool.
It's a lot different.
Thio the hockey Montoya area where I was hiking near my house.
Oh, stairs.
They look so old.
I think we're almost there.
Oh, cause a lot of stairs.
Oh, everything looks so old.
Wonder how old these buildings are.
We're taking the secret route.
Apparently, there's a good view up here, but lose somebody's biter webs wouldn't be my first choice of rooms.
Oh, God, you're going first so I could say, Well, be careful.
It's a very narrow path.
Oh, there's a chain, huh?
Oh, you're live.
Wow.
This must be the best few have ever had from a mountain.
It's pretty cool.
It's pretty scary up here.
Oh, so where we parked?
The car was called on Ducky, Ginger and Ducky shrine and the poppy took is kind of like, ah, hidden secret path.
It's not the common path of people Hike on mountain ducky, but you get a pretty cool of you if you take it.
So if you're interested in coming up to the spot, park your car at own Ducky Ginger about a 10 15 minute hike up lots of stairs to get here.
But the view is just ridiculous.
Always.
We had time for the last place that I wanted to visit.
It's the underwater cave.
Nosy me underwater cave.
Really cool thing about this place is you can go diving inside the cave.
Even if you're a first time diver, you've never done it before.
They have different levels.
Of course, is that you can do.
And there is one for beginners so anybody could do it.
I'll have to come back here.
I've always wanted to try diving.
That's really need that.
They even except beginners here.
I can't get over how clear the water is.
It's insane.
Yeah, so fun to dive through.
Which means something like, yeah, that's pretty much it plants trying to go back to life, to force its So wow Yeah, Mole.
It looks like it's only around.
That's crazy.
Look at this area where the light hit.
There's like green growth.
Imagine diving down there.
How cool would that be?
His fish?
D'oh!
Theo was really cool.
If you like caves, this is definitely one of the cooler ones.
I've seen other stuff.
What is this?
It here is show what land?
Wait is actually really need.
Like this.
Love Looking at old toys.
I like how they leave.
Everything else.
You can play with it.
