In this difficult and uncertain time,

we're so sad that we're not able to share live music with you.

I'm Sumire Kudo, cellist in the New York Philharmonic.

We made this video because we wanted to find a way

to play together for you even while we can't be together.

Creating this brought us joy, and we hope it encourages you as well,

because we believe that music connects us all.

We will practice social distancing and the cello until the day

we are able to play in front of you. We will see you again.
