Here is a recent question scene in Pakistan in January 2020.

Many people believe that individuals are responsible for their own happiness, while others think happiness is dependent on external factors.

Discuss both views and include your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and examples from your experience.

As you know, the Examiner is not looking for a specific S a structure, but they do expect to see organized writing that communicates clear ideas and is fulfilling to all parts of the task.

Thus, in this specific case, an essay structure that declares an opinion in the introduction paragraph and then supports that opinion throughout the rest of the essay would not be as fulfilling to the task as an essay that declares a discussion.

In the introduction, Paragraph commits a supporting paragraph to discussing the positions given in the task and then states the writer's opinion in the conclusion.

Also, at least one point in the discussion would need to be upheld by an example from the writer's own experience.

If the's supporting paragraphs remain completely objective and do not derive their own respective conclusions.

An additional paragraph could be included to give the writer the opportunity to compare the science that were discussed and demonstrate how the writer derived their own opinion.

However, this could also be carried out in the conclusion paragraph itself.

So, as with all Isles essay questions, you do have some structural flexibility so long as your response addresses all parts of the task appropriately.
