This is a still when compared to the bullet train Take a Shinkansen, which is three times the price and never goes on sale. But then it's like this in my pockets got started. Anyways, we're here getting on the flight. So that said, the bullet train is the most common way people travel from Tokyo to Osaka. You've probably already seen videos about people traveling by bullet train. But this video, I'm gonna show you what it's like to travel by airplane. I want you guys to tell me if you think the flight cost savings is worth a hustle from Osaka back to Tokyo, we're taking the flight, and it's gonna be a long, long journey. I'm gonna bring you guys with me. Let me give you some background about traveling from Osaka to Tokyo, taking the bullet train. You need to first get the Shin Osaka station from whoever you start in Osaka were using number stations in this example because that's where I stayed. Then transfer onto the bullet train head to Tokyo station for the final destination. We're using my home station, Shibuya, which is a common destination for travelers from Tokyo Station. I transferred to the Yemen OT line and ride it all the way home. Done on Lee. Two. Transfers. Very simple and minimum effort Just the way I like it. Now let's compare that with flying. You'll start from number Station, Get on the express line or rap Ito Train to Kansai Airport After checking in baggage and security check. You're ready to fly to Narita or 100 airport. This time I flew to not eat from here. There are many ways to get back home. I did the cheapest route, which adds one additional transit. If you don't mind paying three times more, you can take the nutty to express train or limousine bus directly to Subaru station. No, if you take the same route as me, it'll be a pain. And yes, if you're carrying a lot of luggage now let's see the estimated time. So when taking the bullet train 15 minutes. Osaka Station two and 1/2 hours to Tokyo Station, then another 25 minutes to Shibuya. Oh, also you need to add some buffer time before you get to the bullet train. You probably need at least 15 minutes. So total travel time is about three hours and 25 minutes nap by airplane, and the total is three hours 55 minutes if you use audio expressed and four hours 35 minutes if you take the cheaper out like me. But that time estimate is all well and good if you hustle and don't make any transfer mistakes. But if you're someone like me would like to travel comfortably, you're looking at much more travel time. Let me show you. So in order to get on the express train, we've got to buy the tickets from Osaka Station to Airport Way were actually able to take the local trains. It's about 45 minutes to get to the airport, where, as expressed, taken 35 minutes. So we only save 10 minutes. We didn't have to buy a special ticket, were able to just say whether regular squeak up has moved tickets that we use in Tokyo. One more thing to note it was only 500 yen. It's 1 36 right now. Way just got to Kansai Airport officially to 22. Now we're moving towards the airport. Not so bad. We have plenty of time. An hour and 1/2 before our flight leaves. It was like the best way to travel is when you have, like, a buffer in between. Michael doesn't like it so much because she wants to have everything on time. I just liketo be on time, if not early, so that I can just relax and chill there. Michael is not feeling well, so we need to pick up some medicine behind there. Luckily, there's a lot of stores here at airports. He's gonna go over their stuff and then we'll be back on her way. Just something really weird. There was this thing. It makes her cheeks a lot cuter. You want to get it? Just made it passed through security check to 56. Making great time. No, we have, like, an hour a full hour just to kill at the airport. We can just relax. It's a little bit more work to try to get here early, but it just feels so much better Take out the plains. Look, honey, more than anything, I really waiting in line. So always wait until the end of line, even though my number is called a lot earlier. Because what's the point of being on the plane when you can just, like, hang out like he's comfortable? Like it always happens? I always think I forget my ticket. But then it's like just in my pockets got started. Anyways, we're here getting on the flight. It is 3 50 That's quite a quick fight. It wasn't too long about battle like an hour have. Service was decent. People were pretty nice. Now way have to walk from terminal three, Terminal two or maybe gonna get bus. And then we have to go on to 90 express or maybe a bus to get back to Tokyo back from Tokyo. We have to get light. Okay, Wait. So you got two nutty the airport. But we still have, like, another hour of travel to go. We're not home yet. Sub trapped for Narita Tokyo, then back to Julia. Anyway, let's get you to the judge, Okay? Yeah, right. So this is our third form of tradition today. Time is 5 50 almost home. Pulling some kind of uses whole process. But someone that doesn't worry isn't familiar with Tokyo Japan, and having all of these transfers is like kind of a lot of work. So if you're new to Japan, just like be prepared that there's a lot of transfers, a lot of traveling in between the cities from the airports and whatnot. So again the train may be simply you're struggling domestically unless you're trying to go to somewhere like from Tokyo to Fukuoka, Ocado to Okinawa. Those are a little further so you might want to take the flight. But aside from that, it could go in Osaka. I think it may be better if you just take the train. All right, let's get to Tokyo. All right. 7 20 Tokyo Station Getting off. Still not home yet? We're still not in Jebaliya. Close, though. Close, though. Almost there. Kind of tired, though, actually fell asleep on the bus. And then they're like, woke me up and it's like, Oh, you gotta get off now So it's kind of like like disarray just can't wait to get home. He's, like, long like Charlie trips. I'm starting to think that, you know, taking the train from those accusations would have been a lot better, but so we would have had to make this last leg from Tokyo station over the area. All right. I finally made it back to Shibuya. It is now about eight o'clock. We left out a 1 30 So that's about six and 1/2 hours of travel time all the way from number station to Shibuya station. It's been a long day. Anyways, I just wanted to show you guys how long it takes from Osaka to Tokyo and gonna bring you along. I hope you guys like this video.
