  • you guys.

  • And welcome back to another episode of Ashley sits alone in bed with a pile of clothing.

  • Is that a fetish?

  • Probably way get started.

  • I want to quickly say thank you so much discourse.

  • Space for watching this video supporting my channels.

  • You guys need a website or domain or you wanna make an online store like I did scores.

  • Makes squarespace makes it super easy because I'm such a youtuber now.

  • It's not even funny.

  • I like Frog Voice.

  • But anyways, today the drifting has escalated a little bit because all the self is from the Goodwill outlet, and you know your cheap when even normal goodwill is too expensive for you.

  • This is actually my first time ever going to Goodwill Outlet because of where I grew up in good old suburban Maryland for small thrusting wasn't a thing to begin with.

  • Like if you've drifted, you receiver weird.

  • And second of all, I don't even think there was a good outlet nearby, but I suppose one of the few froze of living in L.

  • A.

  • Despite its complete lack of urban planning and weird obsession with that, there's actually a goodwill outlet pretty near by and by pretty nearby.

  • I mean that it's like 15 minutes away.

  • But it takes an hour and 1/2 to get to the previous comment about complete lack of urban planning.

  • Anyways, I decided to take a trip up there because I go thrift ing around that area.

  • Anyway, let me tell you, the Goodwill outlet is a bit of an experience.

  • Basically, is this gigantic warehouse full of these big blue bins completely disorganized in size and color?

  • They're full of all the clothing that nobody wanted to buy.

  • A natural goodwill, which is a good sign.

  • Nothing has tags or pricing or anything.

  • Either.

  • You just put it in a giant court and then they wait your cart and they charge you 1 99 per pound clothing.

  • I think when I was there to, everybody could tell that I was like a goodwill outlet, Brookie, because all the experience people had gloves on them to dig through the bins.

  • And I quickly found out why when I wished into one of the bands and I felt something moist, I'm not gonna think too hard about what That waas.

  • We're just gonna let that experience go But anyways, I picked up all of this clothing for around $21.

  • I believe here's my receipt of all the goodwill purchasing like they literally in the past, like, three months.

  • I've been trying to save all of these for, like, filing and tax purposes, because adult in any way.

  • Yeah, okay, here we go.

  • So I picked up £11 of clothing for a total of 2169.

  • So let's see what I got for that fine price.

  • The first thing I picked up was a little bit insane, a little bit too good to be true.

  • I'm a little bit suspicious of this.

  • It's allegedly a Christian Dior slip top, and I don't even have to dig hard for this.

  • This was literally just sitting on one of the beans, right by the door, right at the top of the pile.

  • The reason I'm suspicious is first of all, what is Cristian do you're doing it.

  • And second of all the tags says that it's polyester and I feel like yours better than that.

  • But honestly, who knows what you're doing these days either way, whether it's authentic or not, I thought this was a really beautiful top.

  • I tried selling it in a couple different ways in this try Unclip.

  • It was a little bit hard to style because, honestly, I feel like it would just look best if you were in a pair of underwear in this top.

  • But we're gonna show that on camera.

  • I haven't gotten that desperate to pay my student loans yet.

  • So at first I caught selling the tall with a pair of jeans and leaving it on top so that you could see this nice little like pepperoni best detail.

  • I don't think this looks bad for save, but it does look a little bit matchy matchy with Denham.

  • I think would actually look a lot better with some skinny black jeans.

  • But I just don't own any anymore.

  • So I also tried selling it tucked into a black denim skirt, which I think also looks really good.

  • Unfortunately, you lose the nice little lacy detail around the bottom.

  • Also, this top is a little bit big on me.

  • So that's why the plunge is like, really fucking defund back, by the way, is that I don't own pace tease because those things cost like 10 bucks and you get to use the place.

  • So I really just like, put masking tape over my nipples to try to calm down.

  • So if you see a little like wrinkles around my boobs in the clip, that's what that is.

  • Did it feel weird taking the tape off?

  • Yes, it did.

  • Okay, the next thing I got was this puffer former fleecy jackets situation.

  • You guys have seen the pickup jackets like this before, but what I really liked about this was that just a plain, dark green color.

  • So it's a lot easier to start with outfits without looking like insanely eighties and nineties.

  • I was honestly, really impressed with how this fit, even though it's really oversized.

  • I think something about the silhouette works well.

  • I don't even have to do that thing where I like to put it off the shoulder and try to look edgy because it honestly it looks really good.

  • War normally fancy that also has this nice little fleecy mining perfect for the spring season coming up.

  • I think the funny thing about this is this is totally the type of jacket that my mom would like yellow me to wear a middle school when I was like going outside to catch the boss.

  • No, Mom, I'm a jacket like that was gonna ruin my outfit.

  • But like now I wear this and I think it's cool.

  • Speaking of, though, I am so ready to become a grandma and have my grandkids, like, dig through my closet and get so excited to find some, like vintage American Eagle skinny jeans.

  • Look, how do you guys remember those, like Abercrombie and Air Apostle could ease from when you're in middle school and they had, like, the logo is on them that were huge in like, 50 years.

  • Kids are gonna be obsessed with those just saying I have two sliders to tell you guys, neither of which I have with me one just because it's already sold on the website and the other one because I have already lost it for some reason.

  • But I have modeling clips of both of them, so just show you now.

  • The first is this super colorful eighties slash 90 sweater I love.

  • It was just really charming and cozy, and the 2nd 1 is a similar vibe.

  • Is this kind of ugly?

  • But in a cute way argyle print.

  • Unfortunately, when I brought this home, I actually realized that they were a bunch of little rips in it that I hadn't noticed at the outlet just because I was like hustling around with my shopping cart full of clothing.

  • Next up, we have another bomber.

  • This was just a simple satin black one on the back.

  • It says Kenny Rogers Roasters, take it home.

  • Honestly, Good job, Kenny Rogers.

  • This is some advanced merch for your roasting company.

  • Even has this full nice quilted lining, which I don't find in most bomber jackets that aren't for roasting.

  • Cos yeah, I don't really know what else to say about this.

  • It's pretty much just your good old classic walk.

  • Blam!

  • Bomber jacket did it, the other actually.

  • Next up.

  • This is my last jacket of bunch, by the way, but I found the rough and teenager's dream, which is the sporty Puma jacket with this really obnoxiously large logo on it.

  • I thought this was a really cool find, very sporty sheet, even though I've never been particularly good at pulling off the whole sporty thing.

  • To be fair, I only worked out like twice regularly in the past three years, and one of those was while I was at the Naval Academy summer seminar.

  • But that's a story for another time.

  • But I will give you a short back story, which is that growing up in Maryland like the Navy was pretty cool because the Naval Academy is in Annapolis.

  • Not pretty much the only thing that Maryland has going for it and my dad is British.

  • And of course, he's like obsessed with Navy.

  • So in my junior year of high school, I applied to go to the Naval Academy summer seminar because I was like, Hey, free education and the Navy sounds like it's a cool place.

  • So what they're expecting to receive like, ah, fun week of like touring the campus and like going to classes and learning some things.

  • But it was pretty much just like a straight week of PT, which is like physical training, which is just exercise on exercise.

  • I had to run through a forest in sweat pants in 97 degree, 100% community weather, and then at the end of the week, we all just lined up against the wall and yelled out to do push ups.

  • So anyways, I thought this jacket was really cool.

  • Very classic Americana, like red, white and blue.

  • I actually thought it looked really good.

  • Is it all the way up to so you can see logo and its full glory, although before warned, it is a little bit too short to wear without bottoms, there may be some ass trick exposed, very like edgy streetwear, very bendy ex Puma before 20 and when it was just Puma on the back and has the number six because Satan's a good team player.

  • Next up I picked up this top, which is like my sexy Where's Waldo?

  • Shirt is just a simple red and white top from Old Navy, which was originally a lot longer, but I dropped it.

  • I don't know what it is about stripes, but it makes me want to own them in every single color combination possible, especially red, white and blue.

  • For at least this is helping me fulfill that quota as a booming.

  • This I haven't tried it on yet, so I feel like I might have prompted a little bit short.

  • But, you know, it's always an adventure in my life to see how short I can probably before it becomes socially unacceptable.

  • Next up, I picked up this little plaid skirt or is it a skirt?

  • Because it secretly a score.

  • I don't wanna scored since I was, like, eight, but this really brings the memories back.

  • I don't know if it's acceptable to wear a sport once you're over the age of, like, 12 But honestly, these things are convenient inventions.

  • No more that weird, like having a touch seat with your bare ass.

  • It also gives me total like early two thousands Averil slash Britney vibes when they were trying, like, weirdly finish high school girls in their videos.

  • Nothing sexier than a 12 year old Catholic girl trying to get her education.

  • Okay, this isn't like a really article of clothing, but it's this vintage looking store bandanna scenario.

  • It's like a strip of fabric if we're being honest, but especially since the goodwill outlook towards you by weight, that's probably cost me like 20 cents.

  • I want to see how creative I could get on the try and clip immediately.

  • When I saw this, I thought it would be so cute as like a little bandanna.

  • If you're going out like a summer spring date with your picnic basket.

  • I also watch means video.

  • I think this is the first needs video that I ever watched.

  • What's her showing?

  • How you can tie bananas into little bandeau tops.

  • And she made the look so good.

  • Maybe that that look you I'm gonna try to time one in this try and clip.

  • Hopefully it works out.

  • Well, don't look so cute with, like, some distressed denim.

  • Oh, and I also picked up this.

  • I don't even know if this is worth doing.

  • What is this?

  • This tiny little, like pink strip of fabric.

  • Again, I thought it would look really good as, like, a little hair bow hair accessory situation tied into a ponytail.

  • And then you leave.

  • And so I say this someone get really excited about it.

  • But I honestly never remember to wear hair accessories.

  • I don't remember the last time I actually wore one, but I'm gonna force myself to do it for this try and clip, and I'm gonna try, like, leave us out my death.

  • So remember to wear it.

  • I also picked up this gigantic gold life kimono slash bathrobe thing To be fair, I don't really know when I would wear this in everyday life, but I feel like this could make a really cool, like, intense fashion blogger re outfit.

  • Or I could just wear this casually around the apartment, assert my dominance to my roommates.

  • This also reminds me a lot of that scene in the unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt where they're parodying lemonade.

  • Although now that I think about it, maybe it just reminds me of lemonade.

  • To be honest, I haven't watched it.

  • OK, last up, I have to things that actually don't fit me.

  • But as you probably know, I have a website where I resell clothes and I drifted, and a lot of you guys have been asking me to carry a larger range of sizes.

  • I apologize that in the past I haven't been great about it.

  • It just because I'm the only one modeling.

  • So sometimes it can be hard to effectively model and style clothing That doesn't quite fit me right.

  • But I'm gonna try to just take pictures of these, like on hangers or in a flat way or something in the future.

  • I might try to get my friends to model as well, so that you guys can actually see amore effective range of sizes.

  • Although I would first have to actually tell my friends that I have a YouTube channel in the website.

  • So love step at a time.

  • But anyways, I saw these other goodwill outlet, and I thought they were so cute.

  • They are by Lee, which I think is one of the few vintage denim brands that are supposed to be desirable.

  • I think it's like the Wrangler and Levi's are the good ones.

  • I don't know why, but Internet his condition beetle like them.

  • They're just like super eighties slash nineties high waisted mom Cut isn't totally the cut of shorts that I'm looking for this season, so it's a shame that they don't fit me, but hopefully it will be good for somebody.

  • The last thing that I got is also something that I won't be trying on because it doesn't quite fit me, but it's these pinstripe kind of flowy ankle pants.

  • I've seen a really, really similar style to this and Brandy Melville, so hopefully this is pretty on train.

  • Also recently, I've just been really getting into, like a good pair of high waisted business looking pant like in plaid of corduroy or pinstripe like this one.

  • I know.

  • I think they're so cute.

  • Lot of the time.

  • There's so much more comfortable than jeans, too, because there are a lot less constricting.

  • And they're also usually so forgiving on the food baby as well, which you guys know I always appreciate.

  • Okay, And that is everything.

  • For this whole, most of the stuff in this hole will be listed on my Web site below its online store that actually made with squarespace for space made the process so easy.

  • I know nothing about computer programming whatsoever.

  • I took, like, one course in 10th grade and learned howto get a program to type out.

  • Hello, world.

  • Yeah, You guys happen to be interested in creating a website or buying a domain making online store?

  • Squarespace fell out there.

  • Really cool company.

  • Type it out here in case you don't know how to spell best dressed.
