  • Theo gifting season is upon us.

  • It's that time of year where we stress ourselves out trying to work out what is the perfect gift for the people in our lives.

  • And sometimes we try and work out what they should get for us.

  • So this is a list of 10 things.

  • 10 ideas of coffee gift of aimed to keep these on the cheaper side of things.

  • A couple of them are expensive.

  • Most of them are not too much.

  • So let's start with the first recommendation, which is for the person who has everything the impossible to buy for.

  • I know I have some of those in my life, and I would recommend the ember smart mug.

  • I know it's absurd.

  • I said it was absurd when I reviewed it earlier in the year, and I still feel it's absurd now, but I still use it almost every day.

  • I still really enjoy the experience of having my coffee be the exact perfect temperature all the time, right through the whole cup of coffee until I'm finished.

  • Whether I get distracted or not, it is very silly.

  • It's expensive, but it is great.

  • So if you've got the budget, and you have that difficult to buy for person.

  • I think this is a great called The Next recommendation is one for the coffee nerd in your life, and it's this coffee.

  • A Global History by Professor Jonathan Morris.

  • Now I've known him for a number of years.

  • Now he's an academic.

  • Working in coffee almost exclusively.

  • Now on this book is like a little machine gun of information straight to the brain.

  • It is small.

  • It is not too expensive.

  • It's £8 on Alison right now, but it is jam packed with information.

  • I don't think I've read a book, this information dense and yet still incredibly readable, possibly ever.

  • Or certainly in sometime.

  • It is a great little book that I recommend highly.

  • If you want a ton of history, a ton of information, a ton of background on coffee, this is a great gift.

  • Now, if you have a collector in your life, then I have an idea for you, and it's one of our things here.

  • It's the Little Espresso cup from tens hundreds thousands.

  • It is a limited edition run.

  • There is one run ever.

  • It's a collaboration with artist Maggie Jang on It's a representation off the colors that coffee goes through from flower took up.

  • That is a beautiful little explanation of all those symbols on the saucer itself.

  • These are limited.

  • They're going quickly.

  • If you want one, grab it.

  • There's nothing down below now.

  • Next gift is for you if you want to spread the love right.

  • If you want to share the gift of great coffee with other people, what would I recommend?

  • And it's actually a classic in the field.

  • It's the era press you could give the air press go to, but the air oppress the classic.

  • I think it's a superb gift.

  • I'll tell you why.

  • I have met hundreds, if not thousands, of people who don't really care that much about coffee but haven't air press and they all seem to just really enjoy it.

  • It is the least disappointing coffee gift I think that people ever receive.

  • And so if you're trying to get someone into brewing good coffee in the mornings, good coffee for themselves in their office, in their home.

  • Wherever I think this is a great gift, spread your passion and your addiction to great coffee a little further, given her press continuing the theme of spreading the love If you want to give the gift of fresh ground coffee, if you want to give someone a grinder good, a little bit of budget, then I would recommend the air grind Bye made by Knock.

  • This is about 100 £110.

  • At the moment, I think online.

  • It is not cheap, but is super well built, really nice to use, really good results.

  • There are better, fancier, more expensive hand grinders.

  • But I think that the price value quality thing here is just right.

  • Fits inside Neri Press.

  • It's a good little grinder.

  • I would recommend it.

  • And now the gift.

  • That is not really for you, but it's really for me.

  • And, you know, we've all been guilty of that gift.

  • It's okay if you're gonna do that, though, I would say give a copy subscription, give a gift that you can share a little bit.

  • I'm not gonna recommend any particular copy subscriptions because there are way too many, and I haven't tried much to them.

  • And I have a bias here in my own.

  • But six months, 12 months give someone a year of really great coffee.

  • That is an incredible gift, made all the better.

  • If you happen to be sharing it with them now, what to give the person who's just getting into coffee.

  • I'm going to be a little biased here, and I'm going to say, Give them the world atlas of coffee.

  • Look, I know I wrote this, and that makes this a deeply biased recommendation.

  • But I tried to write it for people who are at that stage in their coffee journey.

  • It might be that they just started a job in coffee and they're really loving it.

  • Or it might be that they just started drinking really great coffee at home, and they're loving it.

  • Either way, this book is there to kind of found the flames of that initial passion but also be a kind of guide book to make sense of this big, wide, huge, crazy, complex world of specialty coffee.

  • There's so much there that it can be overwhelming, and this is designed in many ways t take that pain away and make it easy and fun and approachable.

  • So I hope you understand me recommending the book now for these last three recommendations, the's going to fall under the category off stocking stuffers, little gifts, maybe something even for a secret Santa if you take part in one of those things, too.

  • So three cheap, wonderful little gif ts that I would recommend.

  • Firstly, it's this.

  • It's a cupping spoon.

  • It's the Rainbow Big Dipper from Messy.

  • So now the company's been makes you feel fancy and it makes you feel professional, and it makes you feel good.

  • And when it looks this good, well, everyone will be jealous of you.

  • And no one can claim to have picked it up by mistake.

  • It will be clearly yours.

  • I think the finish on this is really cool.

  • I think it's beautiful.

  • Spoon.

  • It's not too expensive.

  • It's a really great gift.

  • My next recommendation is this.

  • It's a cheap set of digital scales.

  • Now these air down to like £8 on Amazon.

  • Right now, that's super cheap.

  • And if you make coffee at home, they're essential, right?

  • They don't do anything fancy.

  • They just wait a point.

  • One of a gram if you're making espresso, if you're weighing ground coffee, if you're making a pore over there super useful for everything and they're a great little gift.

  • Don't make sure to explain it, because on its own, it's probably a little bit confusing.

  • And last but not least, I'm gonna do a little self recommendation again.

  • As a little stocking stuffer, I think coffee playing cards are a great little gift.

  • We went with a couple of artists on this, and they did.

  • Amazing job on we have.

  • The King is a producer.

  • We have the queen as a roaster.

  • We have Jack as a barrister on this, a special Joker card that is particularly beautiful, too.

  • We really love these.

  • They're a great gift.

  • They don't even have to be a coffee lover to enjoy a beautiful set of playing cards.

  • They're really nicely made their enjoyable to shuffle deal with Hunter to play card games with.

  • Have you liked them?

  • Maybe enjoy them, But let me know your thoughts.

  • Let me know what appears out of this list.

  • Let me know if you have a great little find, a great little gift that you want to share with other people.

  • Leave a comment down below.

  • I would love to see what you're gifting this year.

  • Thank you so much for watching.
