And to get a little more background information on how Michael, Jake, and I work together

favorite mathematical visualization and he said modular multiplication on a circle. I

said okay, basically what is that. He said, this is that The way this works is you have

a number of points and then you have a multiplier so this is forty points with a multiplier

of four. So one goes to four. Two goes to eight. All the way around, creating this cool

design. So we messed around for a couple of days on different designs and then Jake came

in and was like what if the design had a v for Vsauce. And we thought well, that would

be amazing. So we spent another couple of days with different numbers of points, different

multipliers and eventually it turned out that with forty and four emerges, the vsauce V.

So to round out the design, I'm a huge fan of seventies science fiction so the color

choices here and this typeface are actually based on the movie poster for Solaris so there

ya go. That's how this came together with Michael, Jake and I all putting our Vsauce
