Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles This is the lock picking lawyer, and what I have for you today is a Toledo model T B K 14 laminated padlock. It's 63 millimeters wide and packs quite a few. Nice features will start with the 11 millimeter thick militant Malloy's shackle that will be fairly cut resistant and that's held closed with a ball bearing locking mechanism. Then we have a six pin core that is loaded with security pens. That's key pins and driver pins, and a few of them are even made of steel for added drill resistance. So they've checked a lot of the right boxes, but I still want to see what it takes to pick it open. We're gonna try that right now. I'm using top of the key way tension with a 50 thousands thick pry bar and a standard hook in 18 thousands. One is loose click out of two little bit of movement on the core. Nothing on three click out of four five is binding. Little click there and nothing on six. Nothing on one too. Three quick out of four. Nothing on five or six one is blinding. Click there and a deeper false set. Nothing on two counter rotation on three. I think we got three set for his binding counter rotation there. I think we have four set nothing on five. Quick out of six. And we got this open. Okay, Not too bad a pic. It's certainly trickier than what I'd expect to find in a laminated lock of this type. But with the 30 plus dollar price point, it really should be at the head of the pack. In any case, that's all I have for you today.
