And what I have for you today is a Toast Mart brand trailer coupler lock that I bought it.

Home Depot.

I haven't locked around this trailer coupler so you can see exactly how it fits on.

Now, upon examination, I found three significant problems with the product that I'll list from least a most severe.

First.

This red portion seems to be made of cast zinc that can be very brittle and also easy to melt with a normal plumbing torch.

Second, the core that holds everything in place is a cheap way for design.

And they tend to be very easy to defeat using a low skill raking attack.

But believe it or not, that is the hard way into this lock.

All we have to do is slip a shim down into the locking mechanism and this will come right open.

I cut this out of some Fiore Gage.

I'm going to shove it down, lift up on the mechanism, and it comes right out.

Let's try that one more time.

It's locked in place, pushed the shin down, lift up on the red portion, and it comes right open.

So That was way too easy.

And you should probably be getting the idea that this is a product to avoid.
