  • Hey, kids, too.

  • They were doing a portal cake that was requested by day Viele Candelario U two's best for creative things.

  • It's cooking and crap Sting.

  • Hey, kids, I decided to use the cake that I made for the hunger games.

  • Capital grade Dark chocolate cake.

  • I will provide a link for you at the end of this video for you to follow along.

  • Basically, the first thing you want to do is make a cup of coffee and set that aside to allow it to get cold.

  • You're gonna incorporate into, um, one bull you're gonna sift two cups of all purpose flour, two cups of white sugar, one cup of fine quality unsweetened cocoa powder, two teaspoons of baking soda, a teaspoon of baking powder and 1/2 of a teaspoon of salt so that's gonna be all.

  • Sift it up together.

  • You're gonna make a well in the center of it, and you're gonna pour in two eggs, one cup of cold brewed coffee, one top of buttermilk and 1/2 a cup of vegetable oil, and you're gonna go ahead and just mix it up with a wooden spoon until it is nice and smooth.

  • and then you're gonna pour it into, um, you're prepared, pan.

  • I used to nine inch pans, cake pans, and I greased and floured it.

  • Or you can use the Pam spray that already comes with the flour in it, and you're gonna bake it for about 35 30 to 35 minutes until the toothpick toothpick in the centre comes out nice and clean.

  • For your icing, you're gonna use one cup of butter, no substitute.

  • Softened 4.5 cups of confectioner's sugar, one in 1/4 cup of fine quality unsweetened cocoa powder, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and approximately 30 force of a cup of milk.

  • You don't want to use all of that milk.

  • You kind of want to incorporate it slowly until you get that perfect mixture that you wish to have.

  • And then you go ahead and beat your butter up nice and creamy and add in the rest and then you frost your cake.

  • So I went ahead and I baked that cake and I frosted it, and now when I'm doing is I have never shaved chocolate before.

  • But I have this diver dark chocolate, and I'm just going to do this to it on.

  • We are going to Sprinkle that all over the cake.

  • I have what's topping that we're gonna create swirls with.

  • I got the maraschino Cherries out, and I am draining them or trying to get as much of the liquid off of them as possible because Cherries go on each little swirl of whipped cream.

  • So what I'm gonna do is finish this up.

  • I'm going to, um, put this all over the cake.

  • I'm hoping that you can also use, uh, chocolate chips, you know, to cover this cake with.

  • So this is gonna be it's gonna be tough.

  • I'm gonna have to do this are very slow.

  • And then I'm gonna have to pull the parchment paper out from under, and we can go ahead and reuse.

  • So I'm just gonna go on and finish doing all of this.

  • It would be easier if I had a you know, the kicks level, but I don't.

  • So I do with what I have.

  • We'll be back.

  • You can't do this with really whipped cream if you wish.

  • What we're gonna do is we're gonna pipe on eight little swirlies, so if you go one side together's oh, what didn't?

  • Quite good.

  • And there we go back in place.
