We're trying to build a community of immigrant women.

And music is one of the universal languages

that speaks to everyone.

So we're really excited to be here for this special concert

Hi, I'm Ni Imani Franklin, Miss America 2019.

And it is my honor to host the New York Philharmonic's Phil

the Hall.

It's real exciting for us to be here in Phil the Hall.

It certainly is an honor to be in the audience

along with first responders, police and firemen,

and public service employees.

Music like this transcends culture, time.

And I think it's important to expose everyone

to a higher level of understanding of music.

It is about bringing community together,

which we did actually tonight with you.

And we are really grateful that we have

so many new friends tonight.
