I was trying before the chap who is up on one of those top balconies up there.

It's his laser machine, his smoke machine that's going up there, he told us he used to be a deejay.

I asked him why he's doing it.

He said, Why?

No, he just wants to show his appreciation.

And so, in the next few minutes, when it turns eight o'clock, I think this will be quite a sight on quite something here as a ll the people on all of these balconies.

But starting already there early start, I'm sure it stalls.

How did it feel to be on the receiving end of that?

It's absolutely overwhelming.

The support that we've been receiving or the part few weeks allows us to keep our energy levels up and so remain remain motivated to be on the front line.

And every day it makes the difference.

I'm here with my fantastic colleague nurses on dhe, other doctors i e.

Every day, every day there's risks.

There is this thing that can get us down at the support really keeps us going.

So thank you.

I mean way have been talking to doctors about what you've been experiencing and what you've been going through a loss.

I mean, how does it feel for you as somebody going through this, going through something that you will probably never have experienced anything quite like this before?

Despite all the experience you have?

First of all, it's not easy on there's physical pressures because lots of energy you need to expend on there's mental pressures because lots of stress on us every level or medicine and nursing and everyone in health guests.

And third, the emotional, you know, decisions that I made on every level off the hierarchy and healthcare.

Difficult decisions.

But we know that everyone's heart is in the right place.

On when everyone's heart is in the right place.

We do our best to make the right decision.

So that's what keeps us moving forward and the support only after that.

Tom, let me bring you back in.

I mean, I imagine this is an experience that will change all of you forever.

Yeah, I'm actually said I'm a junior doctor.

I've only bean a doctor for about eight months.

All of this is incredibly new for me and this situation.

It's clear that even some of the most senior and experienced colleagues that I know and across the country are finding very difficult as well.

So I've had a lot of moments over the last couple of weeks.

There have really hit home have bean bean very emotional, as I'm sure have colleagues across the country.

But, you know, having this support from people across the country on the support from our colleagues and our seniors is keeping us going.

Can I just briefly ask you both?

I mean, Tom, first of all, do you Do you feel do you feel hopeful that we can get through this?

Yeah.

I mean, I I am hopeful that we can get through this, But as the Prime Minister told us last weekend, things will probably get worse before they get better, and that is very difficult.

I think it's going to require huge national efforts more levels than one from public health.

Thio Just keeping up morale and General to get through this, we will get through it.

But I suspect it will change healthcare system on dhe society as we know it's gonna be rough.

I'll just again Could you Do you feel hopeful as you go into work.

First of all, this sport from our colleagues in the public makes us very hopeful, but that's from numbers behind it.

For every home the GP goes to, he needs a new set of personal protection kits.

I always try and explain to patients why we've got that pee pee on, and that is to protect them as well as us.

It can be intimidating, obviously, for the patients, and you actually sometimes feel like you've lost.

That's a humanistic connection with the patient when you got goggles on and a mask, it's purely just to check in with you and check to see that you're all right.

Given the current situation with Corona virus back at base in Stockport, this GP federation is dealing with an unprecedented number of calls.

It's been really a top in search of rapid escalation in terms of patients and the presenting on the impact that that will happen.
