  • Hi.

  • Welcome to show me the car dot com.

  • I'm a new teacher and I'm hit Bill.

  • And today we're making a simple bell pepper sub z with peanuts.

  • Yes, amazing recipe.

  • Of course.

  • We're gonna need bell peppers.

  • So this is approximately the size of a bell pepper.

  • We've used three of them on your cube them.

  • So the size that you cut the public was entirely up to you.

  • We got three jalapenos over here, and our jalapenos are not spicy at all.

  • So we've just cup three, and hopefully they'll be good.

  • Basically, they're just there to give a little extra kick because we all know that bell peppers are completely mild.

  • So if you really want to keep it mile than you can even skip that step, right?

  • I just want you in there.

  • So here we have half a couple of peanuts and these do not have a skin.

  • But, you know, if you have runs with skin, they work absolutely fine, and they're wrong.

  • So this is gonna be a really quick stir fry saute.

  • So we have one tablespoon of oil heating up in our pan right now and we'll get started care.

  • Oil is hot.

  • We're gonna add half a teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1/8 teaspoon bouts of petito quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder and we're gonna lightly roasted peanuts.

  • It's 1/2 cup of peanuts, and you're looking for a light golden color on these peanuts.

  • So for the peanuts, now you're using roasted peanuts.

  • You don't need to cook them this long because we're using the wrong one, so we're going to make sure they have.

  • They get cooked and they have a little cover coating on them on a little ground color you're looking for basically que the peanuts been cooking for just about a minute or two.

  • We'll add the bell peppers and the jalapenos and toss it.

  • And here's half teaspoon of cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder in salt to taste.

  • Mix it well.

  • We're gonna cover and cook this until the bell peppers or tender and be sure you keep stirring in between.

  • Hey, our bell peppers have been cooking for about 10 to 12 minutes on a medium to medium high, and they're nice and tender and a little caramelized on that.

  • Just things perfect woman.

  • It's a Trappist Oh, it smells so good.

  • Oh, yeah.

  • I can smell the jalapenos if you think you're slipping into a very spicy and you can either reduce or you can just DC them that you get layering without the heat.

  • Great idea.

  • This looks fantastic.

  • Now the shape of the bell peppers.

  • It's still holding shape, but if you bite into it, it's nice and soft.

  • This is not gonna be a texture like a star.

  • Pride texture words crunchy.

  • It needs to be a little bit on the softer side, so our final step is we're gonna squeeze some lime juice over the top.

  • Thank you and lots of home.

  • Forget.

  • Yeah, 10 year the better on this one and toss it one more time.

  • It's ready to serve, so this is done.

  • The sums he's done capsicum or bell pepper with the peanuts.

  • And I know this recipe is from Heather's mom.

  • Thank you.

  • Think you mentioned Waas that you know the juice Trumbo Bell pepper.

  • When it's cooking, it leads a lot of water, right, so the water cooks the peanuts and makes them soft.

  • So here's the test, so you get a nice roasted flavor, plus a soft texture.

  • Oh, right on.

  • Very nice recipe.

  • So it's very colorful.

  • Now, this you can use this as a subsidy is your main sub Z.

  • But it's great as an accompaniment.

  • Also, just like a little a little frightening, you know, with your rest of your meal.

  • And it just has a lot of color, a lot of new trends, and it is fantastic tasting.

  • So thank you for this recipe and join us again on the little guy sort of.

  • Show me the carrie dot com, adding a pinch of Spice Teerlink.
