With the recent announcement that online matchmaking client Gamespy is shutting down, 2K reassured fans that the Civilization and Borderlands series will stay online - they'll be migrating to Steamworks after a temporary downtime during the transition. Many other publishers have also announced that many of their titles will service the GameSpy shutdown, but unfortunately Crysis and Crysis 2 did not make the cut. Meaning that as of May 31st when the service officially closes, you will no longer be able to play Crysis and Crysis 2 multiplayer. If you're desperate to save these titles, however, there is an online petition urging EA and Crytek to find an alternate matchmaking provider, we'll link you to that in the video description. Well, it's that time of year again - time to dust off your swim trunks and hit the beach because spring is here! Oh wait, no, time to stay inside F5ing every gaming news outlet you follow because the first teaser image for the next Call of Duty game has been revealed. Neat. It's a soldier. And his nose. Seriously, look at that thing. That's awesome, and gives us so much information about the next title. Anyway, Sledgehammer Games is the developer of this next title, to be released Fall of 2014. A Bioshock movie may be on its way - Monday brought news that Sony Pictures had registered several web domains including Bioshock-Movie.com and Bioshock-Movie.net. Evidently a bioshock movie was in the works back in 2011, with Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski to direct the film. It was set to be rated R, but after another R-rated movie that year, The Watchmen, was a box office failure, the Bioshock movie was scrapped. Now there's speculation that the movie could be back on the horizon, but there's no word yet on whether 2K or Irrational has anything to do with the domains that Sony registered. Bioware has released a new gameplay trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition. In the game, the Inquisitor is the lone survivor of a cataclysmic blast, and the only one who can stop the demons terorrizing the land of Thedas. Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released on October 7th of this year, and you can click the link below to view the gameplay trailer for yourself. The Xbox One finally has a release date in Japan - September 4th. Yup, almost 10 months after it launched in the west, and 7 months after the PS4's Japanese release. No news yet on the price point in Japan, but with E3 just around the corner, we'll probably find out soon. That's it for the news this week! As always, be sure to comment, rate, and subscribe, and I'll see you guys next time! Until then, enjoy the game.
