food let's take a look at the words we have soap s O a p and soup s o u P

this is actually a fairly easy lesson if you kind of ignore the spelling and just

focus on the sounds for soap we're going to say a long o sound and for soup we're

going to say the long ew sound beginning and end are the same so for the s you're going

to have the tip of your tongue high and flat in your mouth and you're going to

allow that air to move out of the mouth do not touch the teeth S and for the last

sound P you're just gonna open your mouth and let the air puff out and the voice

box is not turned on it is off okay for the O sound you're going to move your

mouth for that sound and you're gonna start with an oval mouth and then move

to rounded puckered lips o o o and then for ew in the word soup

you're just going to round your lips ew ew ew so we have o that moves in soap and

then ew that stays still in soup so let's try those two words soap soap soap

soup soup soup soap soup I didn't rinse the bowl enough and there was some soap

in my soup give it a try I know people are going to notice the difference if
