close to 5:30 and we are here to catch a flight to

like an hour in 20 minutes tops so yeah we're in line waiting for the

airline business and we can get rid of her bags be on our way

expect them just operate in Europe but no Airlines that they started doing

business in this country and actually the trip from Buenos Aires to Cordoba

was cheaper by plane than taking a bus the bus is like 10 11 hour journey and

it was like $80 us each way and the airline was $70 returned today we got a

deal

it is a breakfast time so we got to rectus us you get the coffee take only

two orange juice maybe I'll do an ounce per person so

we're just sharing everything because it's still a little early and no one is

to two hundred oh yeah this is going to be our airport breakfast sure and Sam

here ran across from this cafe - yeah it's covered in meringue has cookie on

the outside boule de leche in the middle it's pretty amazing

those are the best in my opinion the white ones

mm-hmm oh ma well the dulce de leche yeah I don't know how Catholic on leche

yeah coffee with milk looks frothy nice and frothy so pretty good way to start

the morning

for lunch to pick up a lunch because we are continuing onward to the mountains

and the only grocery store is going to be closed because of the timing so we

have my Dallas yeah I did this like that red wine wine beer salami mortadella I

got it all very great snack when we get there so everything everything there

so we have arrived in the countryside it is so peaceful so green so quiet blue

skies even though apparently it was storming yesterday yeah yeah that was a

pretty cool Drive we made a lot of stops along the way it's beautiful yeah the

scenery changes so much I mean it's it's flat in Cordoba City and then off in the

distance you have the the Sierras right mountains and now we're in the mountain

and now we're in the mountains we went from like what was its level but what

six five six hundred meters all the way to 1300 mm-hm

so yeah now we're just relaxing a bit so let's talk about the places we visited

today the little stops along the wake so I don't think you really should shot it

very much first up a small little Russian Orthodox Chapel yeah which is

kind of unexpected for this region you don't really have a lot of Russians here

so it's it's a private chapel on someone's property and right next to it

is there is there it's a pretty humble house that they live in yeah apparently

they spent all their money building the chapel so then there wasn't as much left

for their home exactly you have a beautiful chapel that they do exactly

and then from there we stopped in another little town called little bit

out of this where we visited another church ciao okay guys yeah that's our

family friends also drove us here yeah so he stopped in look at this as well to

visit another church that dates back from the 1700s it was just very historic

with like these wooden beam ceilings it was pretty cool and then from there

another random roadside stop where we bought in bananas bananas lead us they

are so good Sam and I are so hungry like my parents are catching up with our

dollars here's all the food we have let's give a food tour so whatever yep

there is mortadella here the deli meat you got a salad yeah there are a little

pastry things here these are the manifold to keep but I need to show them

to you they're called pastelitos they're very

sticky yeah and then over here we have a cool cerveza beer from a nearby town

visa Henry Albert Graham Oh which is somewhere we visited the last time we

were in Argentina and I think the the bear is the is the symbol of the town is

that right of this town but also maybe Belle Grandal - and this is my personal

item oh my gosh guys alpha horror my Cena this is the homemade artisanal once

was so much too late de leche the caramel spread in the middle we also

have a wine I've been wanting to try this brand for a while have any of you

guys had Portillo before it's a it's a Malbec and I've been noticing that in in

grocery stores so yeah I've wanted to try that and yeah it was just uh it was

an incredible journey I mean the scenery was wonderful we we went through the

mountains we went by lakes we went through forest areas there were valleys

there were there areas that didn't have a lot of vegetation there areas that had

a lot of vegetation so it was just a beautiful Drive very serpentine roads as

well at certain sections so like country roads and yeah the family friend driver

he just took it easy we were going so slow and just taking and we were

sightseeing yeah so yeah that that's basically a wrap what we're gonna do is

give you a full apartment to earth

cute well it's pari smells like a country cat it smells like smoke it

smells like he's been rolling around in ashes today has been a very busy day we

flew from when Osiris to Cordoba then in Cordoba we were picked up by a

family friend and we drove up to the vatic alamou cheetah paradise on earth

where we are spending the next few days and we're seeing with family friends who

own cottages so very convenient we thought we'd give you guys a tour just

to show you what this area is like it's kind of like rustic country cozy so yeah

we're gonna go inside and I'm gonna show you around also I have to mention we've

already befriended a cat which explains why I am covered in cat fare catfish

we've made a best friend out here the cat's been so sweet he's been hunting

he's caught crickets he's hunted crickets we found him sleeping in the

bush yeah he was sneaking it he was sneaking a little bite from someone's

there was a little dish of someone else's cabin we also we also fed him a

little bit of mortadella so and we saw foxes

yeah there's foxes on the father it is the giant bird that was colorful I

cannot even name the bird I've never seen one like that really we've got our

you know like a week's worth of wildlife sightings in the first couple hours yeah

so anyways this is the cottage where we're staying it's a cottage for five

people getting fit up to six people in there but it's just it's just the four

of us but anyway let's come on so we have lots of beautiful flowers and

greenery it's nicely decorated when you walk in there's like a little Terrace

area where you can hang out this is where we've been most of the afternoon

like we had a nice little light be gather lunch we had some wine some beer

bread deli meats this was the hangout spot another cool

thing about this place is that they have a real lead that yes yeah this is this

is incredible this is like the classic argent time barbecue and they've set it

up so it's do-it-yourself so here's the grill

here's the grill here are the utensils like look at this the tools of the trade

so yeah and said if you think char coil of course they use pine cones wood

charcoal charcoal yeah this is gonna be nice I feel like we're probably gonna

make at least one us out while we're here yeah otherwise it would be I have a

feeling I have a feeling we'll make more than one but yeah minimum of one now

check it out we go so on the ground floor this is kind of like the main

living space we have a wood-burning stove it's summer right now so I don't

think we'll need to use it you've got a big-screen TV I don't think we'll be

using either because nature is right outside our window yeah we didn't

exactly come here to watch TV or to go online a whole lot it's uh unplug this

is kind of like a couch slash daybed yes so if you have six guests the sixth one

would end up here right here then we have a dining area yeah beautiful flower

table cloth very colorful and as well a little kitchen here stove top you feel

like cooking got a fridge there look at some ice cubes

thanks cubes this is our salad yeah I'm sure you guys know buds anything

impressive but it just always it's always nice when when you run your left

ice cubes and then yeah this is just a simple stove yeah over here and we have

like just a place to wash up the sink now this is interesting

your dad was showing me this when you turn on the hot water it actually sparks

watch this guy's watch this look at Oh turn it off turn it back on

and so it only yeah the hot water is only on when you command it to be on and

a bit for the main floor yeah that's pretty much all there is to it so we're

gonna take you upstairs so follow me yeah to the second floor it's a pretty

cool staircase it's narrow but it feels dirty so we have two bedrooms up here

yeah this would be the main bedroom master bedroom I suppose with a double

bed we have two little nightstands with lamps here is the closet space yeah

that's a whole bunch of blankets in case it gets cold overnight and we also have

a cute little balcony yeah because it's even though it's warm the temperature

does drop considerably azam yeah I think during the summer months it's gonna drop

down to 17 at night it's still practically room temperature well yeah

we'll survive wow I haven't been in here yet either had I this is so cool look at

the view you get yeah there's quite a few different cottages will will give

you a walking tour of the of the proper like 11 or 12 here yeah and this part of

the house is a frame which is my favorite type of construction they just

feel extra cozy I feel like I'm really in the mountains yep

so yeah this is the one bedroom and then the bathroom is next actually so here in

the hall there's a space I guess for if your towels toilet paper soaps we have

our toiletries out here and then this way we've got a little sink sink so

toilet yeah good day I would say almost all the houses in Argentina have bidets

all of them and then a shower

it's our yeah we haven't we haven't we haven't had a chance to test out the

shower yet we just came here again guys look at those views if it's warm enough

you can just like keep this open and have nature nature views well you try

not to scare the other and then we have just one more bedroom here this is kind

of like a kid's bedroom I would say it has a three single bed

yeah and again you have that a-frame structure yeah on the on the roof which

is really cute it just feels so cozy in here that's the best way to describe it

so you have three single beds two little nightstands more storage space and yeah

we're basically here for the next one five nights or so we can we do it we do

have five nights I think at least five nights so again look at the views yes so

this is a little taste of the place where we're at we're obviously gonna be

exploring the town and some neighboring towns going around visiting friends yeah

but before we say goodbye why don't we show the the full property the full

lots of beautiful flowers and maybe a fox or two
