Taking that first step is always the hardest. With fear and excitement you step into the unknown. No destination. No guarantees of success. Just a belief that this is what you need to do. And those first vlogs .... they were .... well... yeah alright you can imagine....disasters! Bad lighting, ridiculous eyebrows and crucially no viewers. But eventually someone somewhere clicked 'like' and 'subscribe' and that's when I stopped saying I and started saying we. Eat Sleep Dreamers how's it going? Eat Sleep Dreamers welcome back to another lesson with me Tom. Hello you beautiful people. Welcome Eat Sleep Dreamers. Eat Sleep Dreamers, we did it! When we hit 10,000 subs, I celebrated with my Dad. From there 100,000 seemed like climbing Everest. But we focused on taking each positive step forward towards our goal. I've made 158 videos, publishing twice a week, getting up at 5 in the morning to edit, going to bed after midnight to film and the thing that makes it all worthwhile is seeing that first comment from you. You see, I've learned that these aren't just numbers we are talking about here. In this world of social media we forget that each like, view or share is a person, with a life, a goal, a reason for learning English and a dream to better their life in some way. To get that job promotion, to study abroad or to travel the world. I've also learned that the most rewarding part of this whole thing is connecting with incredible people along the way. My Dad, my sister, my friends, fellow YouTubers and of course you the Eat Sleep Dreamers. You have all walked this journey with me into the unknown. So thank you for all your continuous support, your enthusiasm and your encouragement. So if you'll allow me, I'd like to keep walking along this journey with you
