Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles We have a lot to talk about today. Big trade going down last night. What's your reaction to that? I saw that. I think I think it's a good move. I think now we know we're having rushed there. They got a chance to somewhat compete with the rest of the league eso the dancing to figure out how I was gonna work. But, um, So you figured out? Sure, he will. They fish here. He will, huh? Yeah, I think so. I think so. This is gonna be tough to handle, but I think you got a chance to start when you when you play. For D'Antoni, it was the work of art. It was pick and roll spacing. Yeah. Would pick the pick the league apart. They got the isolation basketball in Houston last year. You think he can get back to that flow that you had gone with Steve Nash? What do you see D'Antoni getting into? I think I think what's gonna happen is that, you know that both gotta figure out a way to play together. They both the isil players and they both demand the ball is on the one ball on the basketball court. If D'Antoni could figure out how to get those guys still big, great and also win. It's a tough job on his hands, but I'm sure you figured out. Is that on the players there? Is it on D'Antoni? So dead Tony and also the players the players got accept the change of roles? Some somebody, some money. Take less shots or not, but depend on the situation. You gotta You gotta sacrifice the times. But, Mari, let's say I put you as head coach of the Houston Rockets, all right? And I know you're in the Big Three for now in the N B A. Perhaps tomorrow. But you're the coach for a moment. Every Luddy likes the talent accumulation. I mean, they're both massively talented and great players individuals, but we got to make it work together. And as you point out, the point I've been trying to make today is they're virtually similar. I so high usage, Dr Players. Russ doesn't shoot well, so you can imagine a situation where James has the ball the entire time and Russ has two playoff. I'm just trying to figure out as you're standing there, talking to Russ and James Harden trying to convince them of certain roles. What are the rules? You're convincing them off. We know the kid basketballs, ball movement. If you can figure out a way to allow James and still be great and allow them to move the ball properly, then you have the best case scenario and it won't be easy. You gotta convince these guys to play off the ball. Sometimes of rust wanted to throw the ball. James play off the ball and vice versa. And so once you figure out a managed flow offensively with both of those guys and I think it will work, who closes out for big shot final final minute last possession? Who takes rust? Or James? Who did you get a ball to? A beer, bro? Yeah, no question. No question. You act like Russ can't hit a big shot. Now, come on, now, I know you can. You can, but But James is obviously one of the best isil players. We've probably ever seen the game of basketball, and this side is pure. You know, he's a high offenses our shooter, and so he has a chance to definitely be one of the all time greats and close the game out. I'm giving a ball to James for sure. All right, question for you and Mari. So you're in the big three right now. On Monday, you hold workouts for 15 n b A teams. So why should the teams give you a shot this season? Well, I've been standing ST Paul for the past three years, actually, since I played in Miami, went overseas and play professional basketball, trained every summer, trained with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, James Harden. I see these guys, all someone trained with these guys, high level basketball, and I go right into a season playing professional basketball overseas. You know, it's a big leagues over the guys, make good money is in very serious game when you play over in Europe. So I've been standing shape all those all those years, and I feel great. Now what? Give me a team that you think, and you can't give me 30 teams Ugo to a team that could really benefit from what you would bring them right now. I mean, you have you have guys, the teams that I have a lot of young players that are, you know, the next wave of greatness. And I think having young vet veteran guys on the team that could help them mold and to become professionals at a high level will be beneficial. I can't really point to one or two teams at the moment, but there are teams that can use that type of veteran leadership for sure. So you know your mind said is I'm gonna be a role player of the same star. Sounds like whatever is needed. Whatever's needed. Been a role player 9th 10th guy on the on the squad, helping guys to training and just trained those guys before practice or whatever. Whatever the case may be on, that guy's so has it. I will say this back to you playing, you know, could we played together overseas, played against each other Big, big three last two years. But physically, bro like you look better than almost when you're collect. You look great. Not like is it just playing against these guys day today? What's the routine like? Would have you done like what has changed? Brokers you? I mean, you ready? You know what I actually took? It took a note of a good friend of mine who played doing sports MBA football, major league baseball player and also NFL football player. And he said, one thing you gotta do study said, Get down to your lowest way possible and be a strong positive and be to that in consideration. I got down to 35 hit the way. It's extremely strong and put a nice regimen of training and recovered together. And I put least six figures every summer into training and recovery. And so now my body feels amazing s so I feel like why not take the chance of trying to make it back to the NBA and see what I can do from there?
