  • We're back with Tracee Ellis Ross.

  • Now I just took a lie detector test.

  • I thought we'd play it here on Ellen.

  • OK.

  • What do you think, Tracee?

  • I think I'm a little scared.

  • Are you going to tell the truth, is the question.

  • Well.

  • Yes.

  • So here's how it works.

  • We're going to ask each other a simple yes or no question.

  • OK.

  • And then the machine is going to tell us if we're lying or not.

  • But we don't have anything attached to us,

  • is it going to be true?

  • The machine will know.

  • OK.

  • OK.

  • We take our seats.

  • I'll go first.

  • OK.

  • Oh, this is going to be great.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • All right, I've got to get really serious, because yes--

  • This is serious.

  • Here we go.

  • Am I the sexiest man alive?

  • [DRUM ROLL]

  • No?

  • Oh.

  • Watch, I lied.

  • [BUZZER]

  • OK.

  • Ah, see what I did there?

  • She was just testing the machine.

  • See what I did there?

  • OK, here's mine.

  • She was testing the machine.

  • Do you think you are the sexiest man alive.

  • No.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • I do not.

  • [DRUM ROLL]

  • [BUZZER]

  • False humility, it's one of my shticks.

  • Do you like all of your mom's songs?

  • 100%.

  • Yes?

  • [DRUM ROLL]

  • [BUZZER]

  • I'm going to get in trouble over Thanksgiving.

  • Have you ever pretended to be asleep

  • so you didn't have to change a diaper?

  • No, I have not.

  • I have not.

  • [DRUM ROLL]

  • The drum roll situation is hilarious.

  • [BUZZER]

  • Wait a minute, I'm starting to think this test just

  • says everybody's lying.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • Have you ever lied to your mom?

  • Yes.

  • [DRUM ROLL]

  • [DING]

  • Oh, OK.

  • Finally the machine.

  • Do you ever forget the words to your own songs?

  • Absolutely.

  • [DRUM ROLL]

  • [DING]

  • OK.

  • Do you or did you ever--

  • Oh boy.

  • --have a crush on Anthony Anderson?

  • No.

  • [DRUM ROLL]

  • That's a hilarious question.

  • [DING]

  • Well, you know, Ellen--

  • I'm telling Anthony.

  • Ellen is insistent that Anthony and I

  • should be together for real.

  • It's hilarious.

  • Anthony is married.

  • She probably wrote this question for me.

  • It's ridiculous.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • Have you-- oh, this is great.

  • Have you ever pretended to have a sore throat

  • to get out if singing?

  • Um.

  • Uh-oh, insurance companies listen in closely.

  • No, I haven't.

  • I haven't.

  • No?

  • OK.

  • [DRUM ROLL]

  • [BUZZER]

  • Ah, Whatever.

  • I don't trust this machine.

  • And I'm a guest here, so you never

  • know what they're doing behind the scenes.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • All right, folks.

  • That's how you play Lie Detector.

  • We'll be right back.

We're back with Tracee Ellis Ross.
