Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles I love when my writer Adam plays a cashier named Kevin. This time I did something a little different. There's an incredibly fancy Wolfgang Puck restaurant here in Beverly Hills. It's called CUT. And it's one of the nicest restaurants that you can imagine. It's like Red Lobster, but CUT is like five Red Lobsters plus an Olive Garden. It's fancy. So I sent Adam there disguised as a sommelier, which is a fancy word for a guy who brings the wine. And we set up hidden cameras. And I honestly cannot believe that the restaurant allowed us to do this, but this is what we did. [LIGHT MUSIC] Hello. Would you like any complimentary wine or cocktails tonight? Just a little red wine. A little red wine? [SNIFFS] That is a heavy pour. (CHUCKLING) Oh, my god. There you go. [CHUCKLING] [BANG] Oh, sorry. I'm sorry. The wheel on this thing is-- [BANGING] It's like a broken grocery cart. Sorry. [CLANGING] He's having trouble. This one's from Trader Joe's. It has notes of, like, some root vegetables, and some vanilla, and some old socks. It's a little sweet for me. OK. Yeah, I'll take it back, then. [CLANG] Oh, sorry. Oh, sorry. Sorry, the wheel on this thing's bad. Would you like any-- we're doing a especially tonight with some wines and some cocktails. Yeah, can I get the Cabernet sauvignon? No, uh-uh. Would you like something to drink? Yeah, I'll have a glass of white. White wine? Would you like to smell the cap? Oh. Great. Good? Wow! Here you go. Oh, is the moscato d'asti? Would you like to try some too? Yeah, could I maybe not-- uh, no, no. Oh! Oh, my god no. Don't do-- OK. [CHUCKLING] There you go. [BANG] Oh, sorry. Sorry, I keep trying to get through here. It's just this cart. Are you going to eat all your breadsticks? No? I love these. [CHUCKLING] Hi, can I get you anything else off the drink cart? Uh, just the red wine. Red wine? Would you like to smell it? Yes. It has a good fragrance. Yeah. Good? Very good. Here you go. Thank you. [BANG] Would you like anything complimentary? Dirty martini? Dirty martini? Sure. Is it dirty enough? Well, it is. It is? Obviously. OK. Sorry, I'm new at this. I can see it. Would you like it? Uh, no. No? Would you like it? No, I'd like wine. Some wine? Sure. [AUDIENCE GROANING] [COUGHS] Excuse me, everyone? Sorry. I'm having to pull you. I've been fired. So I don't work here anymore. Luckily, I have a backup job. I actually work at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," so there's hidden cameras up here that have been watching you all night. Bravo! Thank you. Thank you for putting up with me. [APPLAUSE] You were all very patient. Thank you, CUT, and thanks, Adam. We'll be right back.
