Love him. -He's so great. -How did he get you to do this movie? Do you know him? -No, I don't know him, but when he started to put the cast together for it, he asked if I would have coffee with him. And he brought up his daughter, and we kind of just talked about how she was a fan, which was so nice, and then I got the opportunity to play it. -Such a cool dude, and what a cool cast. -Yeah. -I mean, you got Chloe Sevigny, you have Bill Murray, Adam Driver. How is Bill? How's Bill doing? -Bill's great. -He's so fun. You don't know what he's gonna do. -No, I never know. I don't even know if he's gonna show up. -No, I have no idea. -Yeah. -You don't really know what he's gonna do. That's just the way he lives. -Yeah. -But I saw, there's a picture of him whispering something to you at Cannes. First of all, how cool was that? You're at Cannes. That's awesome. -Oh. Yeah. -Everyone's like, "What is he whispering to Selena? What is he saying to her? What is it?" -It wasn't even -- First off, that just kind of looks weird, but... [ Laughter ] But he was just saying dumb things. Like, he would just lean in, and he'd be like, "You look great tonight." And then he'd look back serious, he'd be like, "Where are you from?" [ Laughter ] And I would just, like, sit there, and I'm like trying to, you know, be poised. -Yeah. -It was fine. That's what he did all the time. -Just try to make you laugh? -In press conferences, he would like try to hit me with things. -Pass notes? -Yeah, he's fun. He's a big kid. -He's a big kid, man. The movie is funny. It is zombies, it is -- It's everything you want. It's a little gory. There's one scene where -- I'm not really spoiling, but at one point, kind of -- -Yeah. -Adam Driver cuts your head off. -Right. -And -- No, guys. You'll see, it's funny. [ Laughter ] How did they do that? -It was actually my first time really working with prosthetics, so they just -- they put this huge thing around my neck, and they added all this disgusting coloring and gooey stuff all around. -Wait. They used your real head? -Yeah. -I thought they used, like, a fake head. -No, I was there. [ Laughter ] And, basically, they sat me on an apple box. -And where's Adam? Adam's here? -Adam -- Yes. Well, okay. -I'm not gonna hold your head. I'm not gonna grab your -- -Okay, well, that's what he did. So, Adam had to grab my hair and pull it up so that my head would kind of, you know, do this dangling look. -Never heard of that. -No, it was -- Well, I don't know how they do it. I just, like, had fun trying. -Yeah, and so you're dangling. What are you doing? Just acting like this? -He's pulling my hair so tight that he's just swinging my head, and I have to position my body where I go, exactly where it's at. -Oh, gosh. It's hilarious. -It was just creepy and really funny. -Yeah, it's great. I want to show everyone a clip. Here's Selena Gomez in "The Dead Don't Die." Take a look at this. -Hey, is there a motel in town? -Yeah, there is one. It's just down the road -- Oh, that's a really good CD. Sturgill Simpson, "The Dead Don't Die." -Yeah, I know, I love this song. Is it nice? -What? -The motel. -Oh, yeah, it's, uh -- it's kind of cool. It's one of those old-school ones. -Like in old-school horror movies, with like -- Like in "Psycho," with the separated bungalows? -Bates Motel in "Psycho" was not separated into little bungalows. -All right. -That's $12 for the CD. And $2 for the soda. -Here you go. Just keep the change. -Oh, cool. -[ Laughs ] [ Cheers and applause ] -Selena Gomez, everybody!
