I worked at Trial Shelter Studio in early California and today we're gonna draw one of my favorite characters, Pigpen for Pigpen.

We're going to start with his head.

All the peanuts characters have big around heads, and Pigpen is no exception.

So I'm gonna, like, kind of draw a circle for his head with Theo, and then I'm gonna do kind of ah rectangle rectangle shape, but almost a square that's gonna be his body direct.

And what?

It's narrower.

On top here is hit.

I can do light lines where his legs were gonna go short legs.

All right.

These characters don't really have shoulders, so you're gonna riffing where it's sweet would be, And then his form connected it later.

So one of the things aside from his desk, Cloud Pigpen, always one of the signatures is he always wears overalls.

So do his overalls and the shorts back home here just a little bit.

It's over too much.

Okay, we're gonna come back to his face.

So what I normally do to figure out where his years in those go is I do across Mark like this sideways talked about this tells me where his beer goes.

This is his back here where his nose sits here.

And then I know, but I'll know where to place his eyes.

So one of the funny things about no, if I think about pigment is his hair gets really crazy hair.

So I'm gonna stark in shake his head.

It's crazy hair.

How long?

This is a little bit, Uh, but his stands up a lot more thinking big smile happy with this crazy hair.

Okay, then the fun part about is adding all the dirt.

So we're gonna just do some rough lines all around his face, his hair don't put it right over his his features, this kind of all around the outside.

Then we're gonna add it to Rose.

He's a mess.

And then the final touch were picked in Is this desk cloud which he carries with him everywhere?
