But what a lot of people don't know is that japanese convenience stores also have a lot of cool stuff outside of food

And since it's super hot these days here in japan. I wanted to show you

My tips and hacks on how to beat the summer heat here in japan

So all of the items that i'm showing today, I purchased from a japanese convenience store

except for one and i'm gonna save that until the end because

I thought it was pretty cool and it was worth showing all of you

Number one body sheet towels. So in japan, I would say like stick deodorant isn't very popular

So they usually have spray or they have these body sheets

So they like help deodorize

They make you smell good what they've done is that they've actually put a cooling agent probably alcohol in them

You can see that it's minus two degrees

That's not like it feels kind of like this big when it's super hot you go like this

And then just like after a few seconds. It starts to like cool all around your neck and it feels super super cold

But recently they've actually upgraded these body sheets into these new ones

You have like this one exactly. It looks like it's actually from biore and it's advertised for women

They almost look like tampons, right? These are like tampon size. Mica

It says minus three degrees and one hour duration. Let's see. So look at this. Look how long this is

Oh that's freezing cold like you you guys don't know but this feels a super civil it almost feels like you're touching ice

you're not supposed to take it on the plane because I could see this kind of exploding but this probably wouldn't be

There's like there's so many different versions, but these are perfect when you're really really hot and you're sweating all day

It's good to just take in a little bit of sodium

A little bit of salt just so that all the liquids and fluids you're drinking is retained

Basically, they're like little salt tablets that are flavored

And this one here is more of kind of like a energy style

So this one is kind of like a tip or advice if you're looking to get some drinks

At the convenience store, then you can just go to the refrigerator section as normal

But if you want to stay extra cool and have really really cold drinks then

This is my suggestion

If you look in the freezer section

What they do is they actually take

normal drinks

like this calpis and they freeze it which is pretty amazing because one of the problems I generally have is when I buy a drink

After like less than 30 minutes it gets super super warm and you don't really want to drink it anymore

This one will stay cool, you know for like half a day now

This one is a little bit different because it's actually made to be eaten a little frozen

You can see how you're supposed to like

Open it up and eat it and it's supposed to be kind of like mekan like an orange jelly

And then they actually have some frozen pouches. So for example, they have this

Coca-cola frozen pouch lemon flavor and then they have pocari sweat. Oh, man. My hands are freezing. Yeah

I'm, basically holding ice you can see that's condensation. This one is pocari sweat, which is kind of like a sports drink

They actually call it an ice slurry

It almost sounds like you know, it has like alcohol in it

Probably will get like an ice cream headache though

So there's that and then if you need some energy

now it comes in like different names depending on the convenience store you go to basically it's just

A plastic cup with ice inside it goes for about 100 yen. So less than a dollar

It's such a simple item, but it's such a lifesaver

If you're sometimes like drinking outside in the park or whatever you bring this you put your drink inside and boom you have a cold

Drink, they're kind of hidden in the back sometimes so you don't really see them

In fact, I don't think you knew about it, right? I thought that was for the slushie like the frappuccino machines, right?

Yeah, this is like you can just go buy cups of ice and they actually have little like bigger ones that they call it like
