Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Yeah. Hello, everybody. I'm coming at you with some hummus. Rants some U. S. News. I'm going to start the story with a quick description of the situation. Us in Japan. It's not that common to see us around. You can find an international stores and some other locations, usually it. In the past, it was being frozen on really expensive. So for a long time, I've been making my own home. Yes, but, you know, I really miss having different flavors of homes. Were just having an easy thio to reach to grab packet, being able to dip my stuff. You know, I love a little bit of us, So I was super delighted when I went Teoh a shop called Eon and they had this us right here it is the young brand playing hummus. I was super excited. I was a little weirded out because it was in the section that was for jams and spreads and not in a cold place. But I was like Maybe maybe it z fine. I didn't really think about it. And you can see it looks just so creamy. If you look at the picture, it looks just so muc is not a classic homes image. I was like, Heck, yeah, let's have some hummus. So excited and basically this is what ended up happening. It bounces. So I was wondering what made it this texture. What was going on in the ingredients? It seems pretty innocents, it says. It's called chickpea flour, sesame seeds, olive oil, kind of oil, garlic, chickpeas, different sesame seed salt, cumin, lemon juice. And then it says content content is jelly. Content is like I think it's a jelly that you can get from from seaweed. It's used in a lot of desserts and to make things have a jelly texture. So they have added that to the hummus. And now people who eat this are gonna think that this is hummus. This is not, um, things is just a P ece out to Japan. That hummus shouldn't bounce. Oh, yeah, we're doing this. We're doing an actual. It's a song. Get ready. You ready, singalong? You all know the words to the Hamas song. Uh huh. That's a tasty treat. Chickpeas and stuff. That's really you need. It's a little bit of dip from a little bit of chip. What could possibly be wrong with it. But there's a little rule I forgot to announce its Hamas shit batch. Homis. Shut it down way. So basically, the message of this is that humans shouldn't bounce. Also, you can get other us in Japan from a supermarket called, um a friend. You guys are looking for us. I found some, um, a supermarket that was pretty cheap and pretty accessible. It's a pretty normal looking us. It's very straightforward when you're not really feeling in the mood to make your own us. But yeah, that's my little US rent. Not actually that mad about it. I guess I just wanted to make a song about it. I do have a dream that really fun. Cool Hamas flavors will be available in Japan, but for now, I'll just have to make my own or get the one from you almost to the market. Even though the U. S is terrible, it's just quite enjoyable, because sometimes Japan attempts things that it doesn't fully understand, and it just gets so wrong. And I love it. I love it every time. Um, even if I get a little bit sad sometimes about it, have you guys ever tried anything in Japan that you were like expecting one thing. And then it turned out to be something incredibly different and possibly pretty disappointing. Please let me know in the comments down below I love hearing those stories that, like some of my favorite thank you so much for watching my homis rant. If you enjoy this video, please give it thumbs up. They've calmed down below. Hey, subscribe. You want to see more videos like this? I don't know if I'll do more Hamas related content. This might be the end of it. Thanks for watching guys. I'll see you in the next video way. Come, come, come.
