So, I know that a lot of you can't travel to Japan right now and a lot of you are wondering sometimes

What kind of menu items do they have at a japanese? Mcdonald's since a lot of you aren't actually here

I wanted to take some time out in this video and show you

All of the new menu items that they have I know that some people hate on Mcdonald's

But I just wanted to have some fun in this video

All right, let's get our Mcdonald's food on so what's really interesting about this current campaign that Mcdonald's is doing it's called the scheme

Which kind of means in Japanese moon viewing pretty much it happens around this time

It's a little bit different every year for example this year

It's October 1st and the way that they represent scheme in their burgers and a lot of their foods is that they put

An egg inside because it kind of looks

similar to the moon I guess and during this time when people are doing the moon viewing here in Japan that one of the traditional

Food items is Mochi. So you'll probably find that in one of the foods today. Let's get it

Let's start with the burgers. This is the skimmy cheeseburger, which is regularly on the yearly skimmy campaign menu. Look at this

So basically you have your regular sanded burger with an egg

This one has a regular sesame seed fun. And then inside you have a special sauce

You have bacon some egg and you have some cheese and a regular patty right there. Let's take a bite of this one

Nothing says love like a Mcdonald's burger with an egg inside. I love that

It's like the same special sauce for the most part it does have an egg inside like Mcdonald's special sauce as a bacon

So it's not like too much different

But that egg just kind of like sets it apart from your regular standard Mcdonald's burger

I just love egg and debuting for the first time this year the noko fue todoro tsukimi burger

So this is the rich fluffy melting burger that they have. This is like the top grade. You have the regular burger

You have the cheese and then you have this one look at that

What's really different about this one is that actually doesn't have a sesame bun look inside there

You got the special sauce have all that cheese that just melted. There's the egg

Right there under the bottom you have all of the scrambled egg. Look at that scrambled egg right there

That's nice you can taste the peppers in that scrambled egg

And there's also a sweetness

To the scrambled egg as well and then it kind of like mixes in with some of the melted cheese right there

That's nice. Let me just take a bite of this all in one

Wow!

That is mind-blowing. I feel like the bun has like soaked up a lot of like butter and meat juices

Also, it just has this kind of that sweetness to it. That is delicious

It's almost like having a breakfast sandwich because you have this scrambled egg

You have the melted cheese, and then you also have the fried egg. It's just a wonderful combination

I'm kind of digging the texture of the bun as well

It's a little bit more like moist and playful and a little bit more chewy, which is really nice

This is like a double egg homicide because it just killed it. And then there was some more it's skimmy

This one is their Stevie pie and it is very very Japanese

It has like the regular fried outer shell like your regular standard Mcdonald's apple pie

But inside they actually have some uncle it's kind of a red bean. This one looks like the beans are not that fine

See that the beans right there

Are still kind of like intact a little bit

So you get kind of like that gritty kind of like bean taste where it's not like cushion where it's really really fine

That fried outer shell is crispy

It's a little bit sweet. Like it's a very very Mcdonald's style pie. Also if you look they even have

Mochi in here, especially see right there in the end. It says

It has mochi man

It's a very traditional Japanese sweet wrapped up in an American flavored Mcdonald's pie

Wow!

All right, so next we have the Ebi Tempura and put up the special shakka shaka fries

Yeah, I got the bag and then you have the luscious fries

It's actually hot to the touch right now and you can feel it like really hot against the carton

So first thing you do is you take the bag and you dump all of the fries

Here, what's interesting is you have this Ebi Tempura "Ebi" meaning

Shrimp and Tempura is kind of like the batter that they use to fry things here in Japan

It's almost like a ramen see right there that is the powder that's gonna go into the fries and throw it all in here

And then my favorite part

is just fold up the bag like so

It smells like a Kappa Ebisen, uh potato chip. All right, there we go. The bag is ready

that is all powdered up like a

1980s scarface movie

Was that 1980s I think so

Got that heavy flavor in there

You do get a little bit of that shrimpiness

But I thought it was going to be more it almost has more of like a shrimp kind of mixed in with a barbecue flavor

Than like a shrimp Tempura. I think that is interesting

You know, I didn't actually taste it initially but the more I eat it I really get that tempura

Dashi taste when you have your tempura and you dip it in kind of like a soup dashi

Let's move on to the next one and Mcdonald's has definitely had to hit up the Mcflurry on this one as well

This is not your standard Mcflurry because it has all of the skinny ingredients that you would expect. It has little

crunchy bits of Kinako

Texture wise it's almost like little rice krispies

The kindergarten itself is a soybean you usually find it in very traditional Japanese snacks like desserts and what not

They usually put it on sweets in like a powder form

But this is kind of like in a crunchy rice crispy form a little flakes little crunchy bits

Just nice because it gives a nice texture to the ice cream

And then it has these little balls right there almost like starting to shrivel up grapes

It's like a straight up tapioca ball, so if you like tapioca, like Kinako and you like ice cream this Mcflurry is for you

You guys saw my video a few weeks ago you would know what I'm talking about if not check out Japanese slang

So quick shout out to all of you in the US you guys have spicy chicken nuggets

We've had that actually for a while now, we even have a spicy chicken sandwich. Let me just show you this one real quick

no, this isn't part of it, but

You have the chicken sandwich there and then you have lettuce and then you have all the sauce right there

And that sauce is almost kind of like a mix of sriracha and maybe the Mcdonald's special sauce, that's nice

It does have an interesting spiciness like it's actually spicer

Than you would expect it almost tastes like a big chicken nugget with some special spicy sauce to it

The more I eat this spicy chicken sandwich the more I'm like falling in love with it

You have definitely like the sauce kind of makes all the difference. I think this also kind of looks like some mayonnaise in there

Um, so yeah, it's a very very interesting sauce and but it's nice. It's nice

Anyways, I just had to show that one real quick. Look at this

This Is their skinny float you have some grape flavored soda, I believe and then you have some ice cream

On top look at this moon. It has a beautiful full moon. It kind of warms my heart. How about you guys?

Maybe not. All right, let's do this before it all melts and this moon turns into a sun like a sippy sip of this

Oh!

Definitely a grape soda dude doesn't like grape soda. Let's just mix

this up a little bit while

Mixing it up like that. It's starting to almost overflow

Into the ice cream is slightly tinted with a purple gray flavor of soda

Wow, it's almost like you're drinking a toy. I guess. It doesn't taste like real food. Just like you're having fun

So this one is coming from the cafe. This is a Hokkaido melon and chocolate frappe

You can see the chocolate on top right there below

You have the melon frappuccino, which is like cantaloupe. Obviously, it's orange so cantaloupe. There you go. Just dig into this

Wow!

And 100% it tastes like cantaloupe. The melon itself does have that sweetness, but it's not too sweet. It's creamy

Oh, but the chocolate and the whipped cream on top now that it's a little bit sweeter

No, no, it looks like I got a pee pee stick the show must go on you can see at the bottom as well

There's some chocolate

All the way down there

Overall it is pretty rich when you mix it all with a whipped cream. It makes the chocolate in there. That is a good

cantaloupe chocolate frappe coming from Hokkaido
