Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles hi there it's Jennifer from Tarle speech with your two for Tuesday lesson and today's words are past time that's gone by and passed to move beyond these words are pronounced exactly the same way so to say these words correctly we're going to start with the P sound p to do this put your lips together or let them open and the air just puffs out p then we're going to move on to the short ah sound to do this you're going to open your mouth in a wide circle the tip of your tongue is going to be low in your mouth and the back is going to be pulled up ah next we're going to move to the st sound this is actually two sounds I wrote it as one so we can practice it together a lot of my students have trouble with this so we're going to start with the ssss sound to do this the tip of your tongue is behind your top front teeth it can be pointing down slightly that's fine too the key here is it is not touching your teeth and the air is going to be moving out of your mouth ssss then you are going to quickly touch the teeth ssst and then pull it down for that T sound and then we'll put it all together past past passed passed and let's try it in a sentence we past our destination since we were so busy talking about our glorious past give it a try I know people are going to notice the difference if you found this helpful we love a like a share in a subscribe check out all of our products on Google Play on iTunes and you can find all of our class options at Tarle Speech dot com thanks so much everyone
