  • Have you ever been in an argument with someone?

  • And you were like This is the dumbest person I have ever seen.

  • How can he get such an obvious thing?

  • We run a lot into such arguments, especially when discussing politics, religion or social issues in general.

  • So let's try to understand why dumb people are dumb.

  • Why can't they see the obvious thing that we are seeing?

  • The problem is that every single off us thinks of himself as the most rational human being ever.

  • Because we are by our nature, are narcissists.

  • We believe that the ideas and opinions that we have came toe over our lives are entirely logical on.

  • Whoever disagrees with us is merely stupid.

  • It might sound like I'm a bit exaggerating here, but trust me, that's the truth.

  • When you support a particular party or a candidate.

  • I mean, it seems so obvious that this is the right candidate.

  • How could you possibly vote for anyone else, especially when the other candidates saying so much nonsense and trash.

  • I mean, come on.

  • And the best part of it is that whoever is on our side or supports our point of view, we believe that they came to that conclusion by themselves rationally.

  • But those who support a different party are manipulated.

  • They fall of that party because they have been brainwashed and taken advantage off.

  • And that was plainly obvious in the last U.

  • S.

  • Presidential election.

  • Don't get me wrong.

  • I'm not here undermining anyone.

  • Politics is just one of many examples off how narcissistic we are.

  • Off course.

  • Everyone is going to deny this because you are an open minded person who always searches for the facts before believing in something right.

  • However, you never look for the truth.

  • But instead you try to find evidence.

  • Tow back up what you already know.

  • Tow back up your opinions and claims.

  • And here is another thing.

  • The funny part is that when we do something stupid or irrational, they're always circumstances.

  • I mean, you had the best intentions, but things just went out of control.

  • And it's not your fault at all.

  • It's the people, the government, the universe.

  • It's their fault.

  • Yet when someone else does something wrong or exactly the same thing, we easily believe that they're stupid and irrational on.

  • We did not even give them the benefit of the doubt.

  • Soto, answer our question.

  • People are not stupid, but our nurses is tech.

  • Nature pushes us to believe that whoever disagrees with us, it's simply irrational.

  • Don't get me wrong.

  • I'm not trying to offend anyone here.

  • But instead, I'm tryingto help you toe understand yourself, because when you understand who you are by nature and recognize the problem, you can try your best and learn to be less bias.

  • Because compared to other people, you understand that you're influenced by your emotions and you could be entirely wrong.

  • So what?

  • I'm telling you that discourse is excellent on You should watch it.

  • You should go and check it out instead of saying I know what he's going to say, because you can get it for free if you use the link in the description.

  • That was a very smooth transition, isn't that anyways, the point isn't to promote the course.

  • No matter what you do, you will still be affected by your emotions, but you will come to respect others small, and you will be more open to new ideas and experiences.
