not many of you know how long we've been doing YouTube for, which is now creeping on 10 years!

We're here in Korea, and we're enjoying our first meal -- for the first few years that we did YouTube

We didn't make any ad revenue at all because it actually wasn't even

possible to make ad revenue in Asia at the time (S-Not at all!)

We joined YouTube, and we made videos because it's fun to make videos, and we enjoy doing it. After a couple of years

YouTube introduced ad revenue in Asia and somehow we were able to become full time YouTubers! (S- I don't know how!)

It's been a very confusing and wild ride. And over the years

We've seen YouTube go through many changes

some were great and some

not so great. In the past year, this wild ride that we've been on has taken a bizarre

turn with what some of you might know as the

"Adpocalypse" For those of you that don't know what we're talking about, in a very short summary,

It's resulting in a big loss of revenue for a lot of creators because many videos are getting

demonetized and not making any ad revenue. This is causing creators to look to other places to keep their channel alive

I'm sure you know creators that have opened up patreon accounts and a lot of people are also moving over to twitch altogether

We haven't done either. And so in the midst of all the things that are happening with YouTube with

Demonetization and people's futures being uncertain, we are thrilled that YouTube has

listened to a lot of people's concerns and is trying something new to fix this. So, YouTube is unrolling a new feature that we agreed

To beta-test because we think it's going to help a lot of creators. (S-Yep)

It's called sponsorships, and here's what it's all about: if our videos have helped you plan your trip to Japan,

Or if they helped you in your move to Korea,

Or if they help cheer you up on a dark day, if you want to show your support
