And we're doing hanami!

We tried this last week actually in this exact same park

But barely any of the flowers were blooming

So we're trying again this week, and it's not bad!

We got some flowers

They're not amazing, but at least there are some

So I'm thinking the peak will probably be next week

So if you guys are heading to Japan sometime during the first week of April

I can pretty much assure you that there will still be some sakura around, so yay!

They're blooming a lot later than they expected them to

We got lots of food and we're just gonna chill here!

We have the most epic selection of sakura snacks and drinks

And yay Holly found the sake kitkats!

They don't have them in Tokyo, they're all sold out everywhere

But if you go outside of Tokyo you can still find them

These are rice crackers with like a sweet icing on top

There's a regular milk version but these sakura ones are so good

I'm gonna be so sad when they're gone

And this is the most beautiful alcohol ever

I'll show you it later on

And the Sakura Pepsi which I haven't tried yet

I've heard bad things about it so we'll see

Apparently it's just a repackage of another pepsi they came out with

Kim brought some really cute sakura cookies

And I think these ones are dango

Eeeee so exciting!

I found this new coffee

I don't know if it's actually sakura flavoured

It says "Cafe Au Lait that Smells Like Spring"

And then there's sakura on it

But if you look at the ingredients it just says coffee, milk and sugar sooo... we'll see

I got an onigiri to start off with

Look it's an omurice onigiri!

It's got ketchup rice and then fried egg on top

I've never tried one of these before but it looks pretty good

These rice crackers are my favourite sakura snack that I found this year

They're so so good

They're got the saltiness of a regular rice cracker

And then this pink icing is sweet and it tastes like sakura

SO GOOD.

I tried these cookies and I didn't film it

It was a really weird experience, but they were good!

They're called sakura chocolate cookies, so maybe it's like a mixture of chocolate and cookie dough?

I think these were from Donkihote, that's where we got most of our snacks actually

They're probably a spring special thing though, so if you want them go get them soon

The donkihote in Shinjuku had a really good selection of Spring stuff

These are good, I really really like these

And look at how pretty these chocolates are

The package is so nice

They've got two different kinds of chocolates inside

This one is sakura mochi flavour and this one is panacotta

It's a kinda cheese dessert I think?

This one was really good, this one was gross

But these ones are really nice

This is my 1st hanami of the year (well technically 2nd but the 1st one didn't really count)

But I'm probably gonna go again next week when the flowers are in full bloom
