  • Hi, guys.

  • This came here.

  • Welcome back to my channel, and I'm here with Eric.

  • So we're currently in Singapore on a holiday, just toe.

  • See each other.

  • Because as you guys know, I live in Japan.

  • He lived in Australia, so we've been doing long distance for almost a year.

  • Almost a year.

  • So I asked you guys on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to ask, ask questions.

  • Unfortunately, don't have time to go through all of the questions.

  • So we're just going to go through some of the good ones and answer them.

  • Which country is your next holiday?

  • This the nation?

  • As a couple.

  • I'm king for you.

  • The Hong Kong or us?

  • US.

  • I want to go in London.

  • You're gonna find that trip?

  • Uh, no.

  • What is your first gift to your boyfriend?

  • I had my first gift to him was like a watch for his birthday.

  • But back when I bought it, I didn't have money because I was a poor student.

  • So I asked him to borrow was about $50 or something like that.

  • Because I needed another $50 to pay off the watch.

  • So, yeah, I asked for $50.

  • He was like, Why?

  • I was like, because I need Thio by your birthday present.

  • I don't have enough money to do so.

  • Just put it in context.

  • It wasn't that expensive.

  • It wasn't an expensive, but I didn't have money back then.

  • I was a poor student.

  • After we came back from my first trip in Japan, I blew all my money in Japan on.

  • Yeah, I Yeah, I had less than $20 in my bank account.

  • I couldn't even withdraw any money from an ATM machine.

  • So I asked him if I could borrow money to buy him a gift.

  • What other things that you like from your boyfriend?

  • What do I like?

  • What do you like?

  • What do I like?

  • I like that was too long.

  • Don't think too long.

  • All right.

  • You know, getting to worry.

  • I like, um I like the way he he's a He's a good person.

  • I can trust him.

  • He is very nice to me, even though I'm very annoying sometimes.

  • And he's, like, really nice and understanding.

  • Okay.

  • Okay.

  • What do you think about me?

  • He suck and she's a great girl.

  • Friend has always been very supportive off.

  • Whatever I choose to do has a goal.

  • I think that's a big one.

  • Has a goal with her life, knows what she wants and we both being making sacrifices ourselves to kind of push.

  • You are life.

  • So I'm glad she's able to take care of herself on.

  • Yeah, he's sweet.

  • Uh, which places in Japan that you guys have visited as a couple of your favorite card?

  • Oh, that was fun.

  • Yeah, probably Jakarta way went over for Snow Festival like two years ago.

  • It's got a different field to the rest of Japan.

  • It's a lot.

  • Well, I don't even though we went during the Snow Festival, what do you do to maintain a long distance relationship?

  • Work?

  • Yeah, just work, so you'll forget.

  • We are very busy at the moment, both of us.

  • She's obviously being very busy with YouTube as well.

  • You have been watching and seen Andi.

  • I myself have been really busy works.

  • It helps, but at the same time, this Skype there's social media way do message every day, just randomly.

  • It's not like we're having a conversation, really.

  • Were just complaining about a day or just setting funny photos or something like that dog photos.

  • And that's what you do to me because he shares like dog funny dog photos to me every day.

  • Yeah, we scrap like I don't know quite often, actually, like a couple of times a week, depending on where we're free.

  • Depends on availability.

  • Probably use at least twice a week, if not more.

  • Yeah, at least twice a week.

  • We're both trying to focus on our own careers and in the long run is gonna be better.

  • So I feel how often you would call each other two different time zones within a one hour difference.

  • There's a one hour difference between Japan and Australia, so and she always sleeps late anyway, so it doesn't make a difference.

  • It makes no difference.

  • I think that makes it a lot easier because it's like exactly at the same time zone, so we don't have to worry about waking each other.

  • What happened to your boyfriend in Tokyo?

  • Another boyfriend?

  • Yeah, I got another boyfriend.

  • Tokyo, But he's really not into me.

  • Unfortunately, he's gay, by the way, just to let you know.

  • Oh, yes, that's right.

  • He's not gay, but my boyfriend Tokyo is gay.

  • It's complicated It's really complicated.

  • What are some of your favorite things to do together?

  • Eat, eat?

  • Yeah, Relax, Relaxing sightseeing again.

  • Two of us.

  • A.

  • Pretty simple in that sense when it comes to holidays, I like Thio eight and sleep well.

  • So we tend Thio, go to some nice places to eat, to stay at some nicer places and start See something you both have in common, both Asian.

  • We've invasion by Australian, I think for us it's a lot about complimentary tastes and what we enjoy.

  • Well, it's not exactly the same thing.

  • Meshes.

  • Well, I think he loves watching movies.

  • I'm like a bit more about it.

  • Kind of spilled secret here.

  • She has not seen Star Wars.

  • She has not seen one of the rings.

  • She has not seen The Matrix so many more so many more postal.

  • The movies that you think she needs to watch down in the comments I've seen Harry Potter.

  • If you guys a k d use a fork or spoon for and was one weird or unusual thing about each other.

  • E don't like the way he does it every time he knows I'm like, they seem really weird Song.

  • Sometimes that sometimes you seem like nursery rhymes, and it's really weird, and it creeps me out.

  • Apparently, it's a crime to be happy and just saying random things.

  • No, like you see, a nursery arrives.

  • It's weird your way here.

  • What do you miss most about each other?

  • Just a company.

  • That's the thing that starts the most because, I mean, we talk to each other every day, but it's just not having each other there physically.

  • That's kind of a way.

  • Like I said before Skype and instant messaging.

  • What takes away a lot of the distance, but you can't take a physical contact long.

  • Have you guys dated almost six years coming up to six years?

  • Almost six years?

  • What happened on your first date?

  • Was that the one way I took it to the pancake?

  • You didn't like it?

  • Well, that's the second.

  • Let's let's talk about the second day.

  • That's more interesting.

  • Okay, the second date.

  • Well, he asked me to choose a restaurant, so I chose one of my favorite pancake restaurant.

  • Too good.

  • It was delicious pancakes.

  • Andi didn't like it, but he didn't say anything.

  • He told me, like a two years later, that he didn't actually enjoy it because he thought, Well, I'm having dessert for dinner.

  • Why?

  • But why not?

  • It's delicious.

  • I hadn't had dinner yet.

  • And while it was pancakes, it was a big stack.

  • And it was a stack of pancakes.

  • Exactly.

  • It was sweet Dinner.

  • Yeah.

  • What's wrong with that?

  • Everything that you could have ordered.

  • The hot food.

  • You order my pancake for me?

  • Did I?

  • Yeah.

  • Okay.

  • I don't remember.

  • Do you have any nicknames for each other?

  • We used Thio.

  • Not anymore.

  • We were both really stubborn, So he's stubborn.

  • Could I'm stubborn?

  • How does he feel about your bigotry collection?

  • Well, it's sitting in my luggage right now.

  • First chance I get I will or a whole Jerry can of kerosene over it and light it up.

  • Why would you do that?

  • They're rats.

  • Do you ever do that to rise?

  • It's not very nice.

  • It's an electric rat who can cook better the microwave a market away.

  • What made you so determined to move to Japan?

  • And did your family members and your boyfriend agreed to it?

  • I've always wanted to live in Japan, and I've always wanted to do it like before I get married because I know what I do.

  • I won't be able to live in another country by myself on, but I've always wanted to do it.

  • So I thought, well, if I wanted to do it and now it's a great time to do it.

  • So, yeah, I decided to quit my job in Australia and moved to Japan.

  • And my family members, they weren't happy at the start because, you know, I had to stay with job in Australia on.

  • I guess things were okay pretty well.

  • But I know I just wanted to be happy, and I like to reach high, So I decided to just go to Japan.

  • Eric was pretty supportive of me.

  • Of course I knew he didn't want me to go, but he was very supportive of me.

  • Yeah, that may.

  • I knew for a long time she wanted to do it wasn't really gonna hold her back.

  • And I knew the year coming out I was gonna be really busy.

  • Anyway, it wasn't gonna be fair for me to hold her back.

  • And it wasn't gonna be fair if I worked.

  • And she had all that free time with nothing to do so.

  • You know, it came out as a decent compromise and I know you are Vietnamese.

  • Where's your boyfriend from your Chinese but Australian, Australian born Chinese.

  • So we're both like Australian born.

  • How is Singapore being being really e Think people have been really, really nice to us, but the taxi drivers and everything we've been taking it being really friendly and nice.

  • How do you feel meeting each other again after a long time?

  • Four or five months since the last time?

  • Yeah, for five months.

  • I think what's helped is we kind of broken it up with trips in between.

  • So obviously last April, when over Japan s O.

  • That was about five months after she left.

  • She's gonna be coming back to Earth for quite a few weeks e in November.

  • So even though it's been a long time, I think having broken it up and seeing each other between hasn't been that hard.

  • Do that when we see each other in person, it's like it feels that we haven't even being apart because we talk like a lot anyway.

  • And we always see each other on Skype stuff.

  • That's the most expensive.

  • If you ever bought for each other?

  • I got him a TV that was very expensive.

  • Thio, my love to use process bought her tickets to Japan the next time around.

  • Yeah, um, we're not that big on gift buying.

  • To be honest, I stopped after because it was getting too expensive.

  • Yeah, I think we just enjoy each other's company.

  • So rather than splurging, I guess with each other we tend to just go out for a nice dinner.

  • It's so hard to find presence for people in like he's picking on picky on.

  • Like whenever he asked me what I want.

  • My birthday, I don't know.

  • I don't want anything because if I want something, I buy it myself and he's the same.

  • Do you both like to watch Animas?

  • He does.

  • I don't give me recommendations for enemy because I don't watch Adam a anymore.

  • And then whenever I feel like watching anime, I just asked him, Hey, what's something I should think for her?

  • Something that comes and goes, Yeah, yeah, Sometimes I feel like watching anime, but most of time I died.

  • Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

  • I'm still employed E still together Hopefully, hopefully by that time probably have kids.

  • And then also I would like three dogs.

  • I want to ship it in it upon raining and I want a corgi.

  • We'll start with a dog singular, and we'll see where we go from there.

  • So, yeah, he's a great friendship, but, you know, I'm trying to convince him for the Pomeranian.

  • Now we'll have a nice list.

  • Family off dogs, just dogs.

  • She's definitely crazy dog.

  • If you guys were Pokemon, which Pokemon would you be?

  • Actually e You doing one of those based on your birthday?

  • Multiply some numbers.

  • Whatever you would need around need around the male squeak his up this big pip squeak.

  • At least I was the male one and made sense for you.

  • What did you get?

  • I gotta looking a tongue.

  • And he thought he was so funny.

  • I don't know why it's so funny.

  • Look at them.

  • Why is it so funny?

  • Do you need to know where country wise you would like to live in the future?

  • We gotta stay in Australia, are most likely for long term.

  • In terms of settling down, there will be Australia.

  • It's still haunted by the loss in the short term.

  • Who knows?

  • Objects using Japan right now, I wouldn't mind moving elsewhere for work.

  • Depending on where it is, There's some countries I'd be interested in.

  • There's a lot of countries I wouldn't be interested in.

  • A.

  • Well, what is your favorite anime and manga.

  • Besides, come on, enema.

  • I like Sailor Moon, too.

  • I do like attack on tired and as well e do like a second title.

  • Good one.

  • And among I read the second time monger.

  • But then I gave up.

  • Got too confusing and boring.

  • Can I do a quick makeup?

  • Look e do makeup on your face, You know, first impressions off each other.

  • I thought it was a lot older than May like, maybe 10 years older than me.

  • And I thought, No, I seriously, for he was like, 10 years older than me, but that you were doing like, some PhD or whatever, Because the way you were talking to me, the first time I ever talked to you was at the barbecue, and then you're asking me what I was doing?

  • I was like, I'm doing genetics and stuff because I used to genetics.

  • And you're like Oh, yeah.

  • So to really succeed in that you have to be Oh, PhD and yeah, yeah, yeah.

  • And I was like, No, I don't think much actually happened between us until a while later.

  • Yeah, nothing much happened then.

  • First impression Waas.
