They can be.

I like the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl.

I'm not saying there the odds on favorite for the first time in my lifetime.

I think I think they're the favorites, period.

I will take them against the field.

Even with their defensive problems.

Because of Patrick, Mahomes has tons of weapons.

He has Andy Reid, but Mahomes is the difference maker for May nevertheless.

E think the Patriots, um Belichick, especially with time to prepare if they make the playoffs, presents certain problems for the Chiefs.

Remember, they gave them all those problems without Cam Newton, who you know, because they lost him to co vid uh, for that game.

And yet they gave the Chiefs all kinds of problems and the Chiefs were the beneficiary of a blown call by the refs.

Should have been a turnover.

Um, so I think that pat skin problems, I think that the interesting thing about the Chiefs remember when they started this whole run with Mahomes, it was shootouts.

The chiefs wanted shootouts, and they kept getting the shootout with people, and they were five and or whatever they were.

You can't get into a shootout with this team.

But over the last couple seasons, I had K.

Um, and he was talking about the last couple of years since 2019.

The Chiefs don't fare that well in shootouts.

Think about that for a second.

They don't farewell and shootouts.

That's why Gruden's game plan was to shoot it out with them.

It gives you a better chance to win.

There's something like five and four in nine games, considered shootouts, points allowed through the air, whatever it is.

So that's presents an interesting problem for these Chiefs, because if they don't want that kind of game, you saw the way they try to control the clock.

Even with the lair, who we were was advertises this dynamic, dynamic playmaker out of the backfield in the passing game and all this, but they can actually play ball control with him, but the Patriots are built that way.

The Patriots, you know, have like speedy front seven guys and drop guys into coverage and try toe blunt the passing attack.

And if you want to play that non shootout game, the Pats are built that way with Cam Newton.

So what do the Chiefs do exactly?

They should be favored against the Patriots, But I think either way, if it becomes a shootout, it obviously it favors the Chiefs.

But that's not the kind of game they want and the kind of game they do want.

Belichick specializes in, especially with this personnel.

I think the Patriots, if they make the playoffs, could be a problem.

Well, I don't think that Zafar fetch, considering the fact that the three toughest games Patrick Mahomes has had in his career basically was against Bill Belichick, even though he just lost to the Las Vegas Raiders.

And obviously, uh, they needed to run the football last night against the Buffalo Bills.

But in the end, I'm looking at it, and I don't think the Chiefs could be stopped in the A F.

C because of the potency of this running game.

When you look at the fact that they were, you know, they rushed for 245 yards yesterday.

Leah had 100 and 61 yards on 26 carries, but they rushed for 206 45 yards.

More importantly, there, the third worst defense against the run.

Yet they pretty much held Buffalo and check with Devin Singletary and those boys.

So I'm looking at it from the standpoint that you're not.

You can you can contain them to some degree.

But eventually they're going to explode.

The Tyree kills the Sammy Watkins Dima Cole Harmon's the Travis Kelsey's of the world where Patrick Mahomes.

And then you have Clyde Edwards earlier.

And then on top of it all, you're getting ready to add Levian Bell, who obviously is that hybrid dude, This is how he wanted to be paid.

He wanted to be paid as a hybrid dude because he did it all for the Pittsburgh Steelers before forcing his way out of the Steel City and ended up being with the New York Jets and, unfortunately, got contaminated by Gates, who doesn't know what the hell he's doing.

Doesn't deserve to be the head coach.

Never deserve to be the head coach of that franchise, and as a result, it sullied his career to some degree because it left so many question marks.

Never gave him a real offensive line.

Never gave him any real receivers for Sam Donald to target.

So you could take pressure off the running game.

And people don't have to load the box all day.

Well, you had all of that stuff going on.

So now he's motivated.

He's gonna be set free and you have a defense.

That's top three against the past, which is the Kansas City Chiefs and the top 10 defense.

They were number seven last year, the number nine this year.

In the end, I think when you look at the multitude of weapons, you must ask yourself this question.

Can Belichick pulls something off?

That's plausible, Tennessee because their suspect against the run, you got Derrick Henry.

The way Tennessee is rolling, you can't summarily dismissed them.

And, of course, the Steelers are coming.

But we already saw what they did to the Ravens.

In the end, I'm still going to say it's the Chiefs, and I agree it is the Chiefs, um, you talk about well, let me let me get back to the Patriots for a second.

Belichick's not scared to play six defensive backs.

He'll do it.

He just did it right.

So he really is blanketing the field with, like, speedy guys.

And that makes the it turns it into the kind of game that he knows how toe win, especially with a guy like Cam Newton.

Now, in terms of the run, you're talking about the Titans, and this is a different season, and the chief's defense to me doesn't look exactly the same as last year.

But remember the team that eventually stopped Derrick Henry in the playoffs?

It was the chief's run defense.

Surprisingly, Derrick Henry was running through everybody until he got to the Chiefs.

And and so I looked at the Titans.

The Titans air live there, a couple other.

Obviously, the Steelers air live because because of their run defense also, and they have Roethlisberger.

I still think it's Belichick and Cam, assuming Cam is better than we've seen him recently, right?

That that was rust and he's recovering from Cove.

It and all that stuff.

Assuming Cam is what we saw the first couple weeks of the season, the chief should win the Super Bowl this year.

If there's someone in the FC to stop them, I'm telling you it's Bill Belichick.

Do you think the Pats when the A F C East I do.

I think the Pats win the A F C East over the Bills.

I think they I think that there live in the playoffs.

It all depends on Cam Newton.

His health and his progress through the season, and my belief is, is that Cam new and needs a full year?

I don't think this year is the year that you're gonna pick him to knock off the Chiefs.

I just don't see it.
