Napoleon is a driving route from the coast near Can away through the mountains to Grenoble, which traces a route taken by Napoleon on his small army. In March 18 15 I was driving through the root Napoleon, which starts in a little seaside town called Gulf Shore, which is just east of can Golf shines a bit smaller. It has more intimate field can, is very different from when Napoleon landed there. It was a small fishing village 202 years ago. Now it's one of the most famous places along the French Riviera actually decided to make a detour to somewhere that's even wilder along the route, the gore stevedore. You see these cabins, which is almost like a knife for slicing through the landscape. Sometimes even climbers rock climbers, giving it a go. When Napoleon did the root, there were parts which the road was not even suitable for wheeled transport. It was just boxes or meals. The modern road follows the route quite closely for most parts, but there's still some bits where it's been carved through. Holes in the rock looks quite dramatic. Just before Grenoble get its long, long descent road going all the way down to the final stage. You do feel like you've arrived after a hair raising journey. The historical aspect is only one part of it. There's much along the route. There's places, much just a detail from the root. If you see this scenery, which I can't believe, it's not better known in Europe than it is.
