  • Orlando Magic NBA star Aaron Gordon joins the show.

  • Appreciate you so much for taking the time to do the show.

  • Now you, unlike other players, didn't have to travel to enter the bubble.

  • But you still had to sacrifice inside the bubble.

  • What were some of the challenges that you faced performing, man?

  • It's just not being able to have those fans.

  • It's such a crucial aspect to it, man.

  • It was quiet in there.

  • I was watching some of the highlights back, and it's like you could hear a pin drop, man.

  • What about not only being in the bubble, but also during the racial unjust that was taking place in the civil unrest.

  • How are you guys able to not only balanced playing the game that you love, but also fighting for equality?

  • Man, I was a difficult time, and it still is a difficult time just being in there and having to try and put that into the back of your mind that people were getting killed.

  • Black men and black women are being killed all around America.

  • While we're just playing basketball is a difficult thing to have on our shoulders.

  • Um, that being said We was just trying to focus on what our task was, and it's Thio go out here entertain, go out here and win, and then hopefully get to me so we could get back to our community.

  • So I think that was the task in hand, well put.

  • And now that the Lakers have been crowned the champions, the media, we all turn our eyes toward the off season and the trade rumors start and your name has come up over and over and over for the past few weeks and trade rumors.

  • What does it feel like to hear that?

  • You know, it's not something I could really control.

  • You know, my job is to just stay healthy and stay in shape and really just continue to be a better basketball player and a better man.

  • You know, if I ended up getting traded than you know, it is what it is.

  • If I don't, then I'm gonna do what I can for the Orlando Magic and continue to the ball out.

  • Erin, I appreciate the fact that you're a professional, but I saw your game grow and you won't improve three point shooter.

  • Can the magic go from being a team that gets in as an A C along with you and Vucevic's actually take a leak in the East because I feel like your game and your improvement has been slept on.

  • I think if you guys advanced in the playoffs, you'll start to get the recognition you deserve.

  • E appreciate that, J I think so, too.

  • You know, I think all the recognition comes with winning.

  • And I think the more that we win, the more people will pay attention.

  • I think we can take that lead instead of just scraping by.

  • Think if we have ah, harder start.

  • I think we'll probably get to about four fit surprise somebody in the first round and then go from there.

  • I love it.

  • Now I'm gonna say something that you won't say into a microphone, but you got absolutely robbed in the dunk contest.

  • You got absolutely robbed in the dunk contest.

  • It was unjust.

  • It was unfair.

  • We all know who really won that dunk contest.

  • I know you did your little public thing where you and Dwyane Wade kind of like made amends.

  • But when you see him off wax, do you look at him sideways.

  • Do you bring it up?

  • What was the question?

  • I didn't hear you.

  • When you see ways like I don't wanna talk about it When you see Dwyane Wade, do you still look at him sideways?

  • Do you bring it up?

  • Look a few ways sideways.

  • Oh, yeah.

  • Forever.

  • Gonna look at the way sideways now, man.

  • But you know, that's the legend.

  • That's the goat, man.

  • Uh, I mean, I don't really think now that I look back, I didn't clear taco, like the way that I thought I'd clear taco.

  • But it's still you know what I mean?

  • That's still up there, you say, But at the same time, Like E should have one.

  • We were watching the way highlights last night, man.

  • It was a bad boy, man.

  • People forget how bad that was in court.

  • We bought the victim blame.

  • We ain't about to talk about how you barely clear a taco that was insane.

  • The attempt and let alone toe actually complete the play.

  • And I know the Miami Mafia really sticks together.

  • So when you were on the sideline, did you think I know for a fact that dude ain't about to do this to me right now.

  • Did you think it was gonna get done to you like that?

  • No, I didn't think it was gonna get done.

  • I thought I was about to get out there with the trophy.

  • And then I think once we had to go into the like, the overtime dunks, then I was like, Oh, they really about to do try and do this to me again.

  • You know, because I was like, No, that's not really what it's supposed to be.

  • It's supposed to be those four dunks, and then I'm about to break up out of here with the trophy.

  • But kept kept us around.

  • And I thought it was It was good because it was for the fans, man.

  • At the end of the day, it's about bringing everybody together.

  • So now that LeBron has won this championship, there's a lot of discussion on this show and pretty much every other show about who's the greatest all the time.

  • Do you consider LeBron James to be the greatest player right now in the MBA?

  • Oh, yeah, Yeah.

  • Is, um, it's gonna be interested in how to see or to seek a D.

  • When he get back.

  • But right now, LeBron, just with his shared like talent, athleticism.

  • And now he's accused that much better.

  • He playing like the O G.

  • Playing like the over at the park and it's still athletic, is a young guy.

  • So the the best player in the league right now, you got a new single out level up.

  • Yeah, tell us about your new project.

  • Okay.

  • Cool, man.

  • Cool.

  • We're actually working on a project called a Born Winner.

  • It's about athletes of all kinds, not just ballplayers, basically, you know, coming in, coming together, rapping, you know, chopping it up on tracks.

  • Um, just helping a that self expression and kind of a therapeutic music therapy and coming together.

  • Enjoy something where in all athletes, whenever they want to wrap it could come wrapped with us, and we'll put it out and hopefully we'll get some money back for it.

  • Erin, what can you tell us about the epic milk dunk movement that's happening right now?

  • Oh, yeah.

  • Big got milk right now.

  • E know, y'all can't do a lot because your corn scene, you're stuck in your house and everything like that.

  • But let's see what you got from the crib.

  • So we're doing the got milk.

  • Challenge me, Andre.

  • Drum it and we're just throwing cookies into the glass of milk Oreo cookies into the 2% glass of milk all over the crib.
