  • Hello.

  • This is Elliot from E.

  • T j english dot com.

  • I'm sorry.

  • I've been away for a while.

  • I've decided to take some time away or time off from work.

  • This might be a phrase that you're not very familiar with.

  • I decided for a short period of time that I was going to stop working to go and do something for myself.

  • So while I took some time off, I decided to travel some off my favorite country, which I've bean to before, which is Vietnam.

  • So I'm now in Vietnam.

  • The last time you saw me in one of my videos, I was in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

  • Since then, I've moved to Vietnam.

  • We have some Vietnamese friends who took us around on motorbikes to see the country.

  • Andi see parts off the country which most tourists don't see.

  • So we traveled from around the south of the country up to the north.

  • On we stopped in a little town where we spent a week just relaxing by the beach on D.

  • Just just spending some time away from work on.

  • Now I've traveled back down south.

  • I'm here and I'm working again and lessons are back to normal.

  • Another thing you can say which I can teach you in this video is that I have decided I decided for a short period of time to sacrifice my work.

  • The word sacrifice could mean a few different things.

  • Um, in the way that I'm talking about sacrificing my work, it means that I decided to take away my job, stopped working for a period of time.

  • Andi, I sacrificed.

  • I stopped that my money.

  • I stopped my my lessons.

  • I stopped everything just to enjoy myself on Thio.

  • Have some fun in another country.

  • Andi, just just stop working for a bit.

  • So that's what sacrificing means.

  • It means that we give something up.

  • We stop doing something which we need, which we which is quite important to us so that we could do something else.

  • It was a really exciting experience, and my girlfriend and I, we both really enjoyed it.

  • We went up into the mountains and we saw some amazing views.

  • We could see some amazing sights off all of the country.

  • Uh, we saw how riel local people live in Vietnam on, but it's a lot of the time when you go on holiday or a vacation.

  • Some of you might say, when you when you go on a holiday, sometimes you don't see the rial country.

  • You just see what is made for you in your hotel for the tourists.

  • But we decided to go and see the rial side of the country and see how people actually live away from the beaches away from the big hotels Way enjoyed some amazing local food.

  • The Vietnamese food is really delicious on def.

  • You've never tried it before.

  • I recommend that you try Vietnamese food.

  • The culture here is very different to the culture in my country, So it's amazing to experience a different culture.

  • Andi live, we say, to immerse ourselves in a different culture, Andi.

  • That essentially means when you immerse yourself in something, it means you surround yourself in something.

  • So if we immerse ourselves in a culture, it means that we surround ourselves with food off, which is specific to the country we are in.

  • We surround ourselves with the people know tourists, just people from that country we're in on.

  • We just live like the people do in that country.

  • Anyway, that's enough of me talking today.

  • I'm just here to tell you that I'm back.

  • Lessons are back to normal, but I have decided to close my website.

  • Um, I think it's a lot more simple for people now just to contact me.

  • All you have to do is send me a message on my Facebook page.

  • Onda, we can discuss booking a lesson.

  • The trial lessons is still the same.

  • That only $3.

  • Andi, I suggest you book one of those first with me, and then we talk about booking mawr lessons.

  • So if you want to improve your English and you want a native English speaker to practice with, please go over to my Facebook on start a conversation with me on weaken book a lesson a soon as you want.

  • Before I end this video, I just have one question I want to ask you.

  • Have you ever traveled to another country?
