Well, he said that he did nothing inappropriate, And my feeling is, if he sees that as appropriate, then heaven knows what he's intended to do with other women in hotel rooms with a glass of whisky in his hand.

I mean, I don't want to ruin the movie for anyone so I would just say, you know, see it and make your own mind up.

But actually, during that scene, we had built a hideaway in the wardrobe, which waas about 6 ft five and 3 ft wide.

And I was in there for the entire seat.

Andi, my only means of communication.

The idea was that I would jump out of the necessary point and I would communicate.

I would know what he was doing via text messages with the director because I had no eyes on anything.

And you don't want you don't want You don't want Maria left alone with Rudy Giuliani.

Well, really Thought he was alone with her.

He brought a cop with him.

An ex policeman on the policeman does a sweep off the entire hotel suite.

And I'm obviously running to get in there jumping the hideaway, which, you know, lock, you know, pull this thing shut and I've got a little internal lock and it's pitch black in there, um, does a sweep and then leaves the room.

And the security guards ex cop, his security guard sits outside the room, ensuring that no one could come in and out.

Um, which is actually even Mawr scary when you think about it for her.

But the only thing was, So we built this hideaway, you know, we're all fully prepared.

I get in the you know, the his security guard does.

The sweep looks in the wardrobe.

There's nothing untoward.

The interview starts and I switch on the phone and there's only 3% battery.

I thought.

Hold on, we've got Rudy Giuliani.

We've got the president's lawyer.

We've got this scene.

This is the climax of the movie.

And no one thought it might be worth charging the phone.

Um, so yes, you know, I managed to keep it on airplane mode.

Where did you Where did you find her?

So you know, I didn't want to start filming until we found the perfect daughter for Borat.

And it's a tough order because, you know, you have to be an incredible improviser.

You have to be able Thio, stay in character for many, many hours.

Uh, you know, you have to be be able to play emotional in the reality of the scenes and you have to be hilarious.

And so we interviewed 500 different actors on DWI.

Eventually found this a woman who just come out of drama school.

She was 22 at the time.

Um she was great on this zoom.

And so we brought her over to England.

Andi, I did one simple audition and then the second audition.

The second level is you have to convince Riel people that you are riel.

So we had unsuspecting people and I was playing Bora.

She was playing my daughter on.

We spend two hours in a room with people who don't know that they're with actors, so it's a really rigorous process.

But she waas I mean, if she doesn't win an Oscar, then I don't know what the academies for.
