  • As with any online service, it's important to learn about the various settings and options you have on LinkedIn.

  • Let's take a look at some of the most important ones to access your settings.

  • Click the Me icon in the top right corner, then select settings and privacy.

  • From here.

  • You can change many elements of your account, such as your email preferences, password and two step verification.

  • Whenever you change your setting, it'll be saved automatically.

  • If you want to control who can see your activity feed or if you want to block certain people from seeing your profile, consider using LinkedIn's privacy settings.

  • For instance, to stop broadcasting your profile changes, click the privacy tab in the Settings menu, scroll down and click share job changes.

  • Education changes in work anniversaries from profile.

  • Click the button so it says no, and your connections will no longer be notified of your profile Changes.

  • This feature can be useful if you're searching for a new job while you're still employed, and you want to make sure that your current employer isn't notified of your profile changes.

  • These are just a few of the more important settings on linked in, but we recommend you look over all of the settings carefully and choose what you're comfortable with.
