Another day I met a friend who has a passion for weird, obscure things in Japan.

Justice I dio And I said yes to that friendship because why not?

He said he was going to take me to an easy kaya slash ramen restaurant that was off the beaten path that nobody really knew about.

And I said yes to that as well because I will follow anybody down a dark alleyway if they told me that they had good content for me.

But we ended up in a place like this.

This place is called Momo Madu, and it's not your typical is a kaya slash robin restaurant because, well, these things happen.

Eso Mamadou has two locations.

There's one in Shibuya Tokyo and one in Nagoya.

We went to the one obviously interview Tokyo because that is the closest.

I was pleasantly surprised because it looked like a unicorn had it all over the place.

And gummy bears just threw up everywhere.

The owner's name is Lady Momo, and he started this shop as a normal izakaya and Roman shop apparently.

And then he realized that a lot of customers weren't coming in.

So we decided to spruce it up a bit and make it look like Rainbow exploded everywhere.

You look like shit.

Okay, so we're at a new ramen shop that I've never actually been to before, and it's really pink.

Okay, so there's literally no staff here.

And there's one guy that's very, very athletic.

He's dressed in pink.

He has no pants.

It's amazing.

This is an amazing experience right now.

Look at him.

Look at him.

Look.

Oh, thay hay is a ramen pink Rahman Batman.

Robin thing is what Romans like.

Thistles.

Ramen.

And this is Roman and I think a thank you.

Yeah.

So the name Lady Momo came from Lady Gaga because he has a love for Lady Gaga.

You'll see pictures everywhere of Lady Momo on the menu, on the plates, on the walls everywhere.

So a lot of ramen shops in Japan actually are pretty.

It's like Rahman culture is pretty competitive in Japan.

I'd say it's not a lot of like chain restaurants.

A lot of the ramen shops, they're pretty original or just local.

There's a huge competition between a lot of the ramen shops they're competitive with, like, a taste for a presentation for the atmosphere.

And I feel like this one, this is all about the atmosphere.

Okay, so it shows the menu.

This is so crazy.

So it's guy, It's Moammar, which is like peach, right?

And as we all know, peach symbolizes ass.

Penn titanium.

That man by eso, Mamadou decided that he wanted to have a little fun with us and prank us.

So this is what happened.

He is not part of the gay community.

But he has a love for drag, which is a very common thing in Japan.

There is a word for that in Japanese, and it's Joe Soca, which is basically in translated in translated English.

It's a she male.

You can book Momo model for work parties or birthday.

Basically, you can run the whole place out if you wanna have a party.

It's a very small place, not very big, but I was very impressed with the whole atmosphere.

The food, everything guy was so nice.

And he wants more foreigners to join in on this fun and excitement.

So I highly recommend you go to this easy.

Kaya, it is so fun.

It was just like an experience to remember.

I'm not gonna lie.

I wanna swing e o e e o e did your terrible out swinging e.

Okay.

And then this guy came in and he sat down next to us, like, literally right next to me, and we were about to leave, and then he was like, Hey, hey, hey, No, wait, Don't leave.

I ordered you some alcohol, and I was like, Okay, so we sat down and it turned into some crazy disco party.

Come on.

And alcohol was sprayed down my throat.

Anyway, we had a really good time, and I enjoyed it a lot.

If the atmosphere is good, then you know that the experience is gonna be good.

And, you know, you're just gonna have a really good time.

I mean, who doesn't want to go to an izakaya that has a freakin swing set?

Places like on my list for, uh, the best birthdays ever s.

So if you're looking for a place like a venue, it's come for anything.

Maybe in the world.

I think the owner was absolutely amazing and I really, really want him to get more foreigners into this venue.
