Indeed, resumes are automatically formatted easy to edit and allow potential employers to find you instead of the other way around.

Plus, when you apply for a job, you will always have the option to submit your indeed resume or any other resume that you choose to start working on your indeed resume.

Depending on where you are in the sign up process, you might be sent to the resume page shown here, or you might be walked through the process step by step.

Either way, you will always be ableto edit your resume from this page.

If you're using the indeed job search mobile app, it's going to look a little different.

But you should still have all of the same options.

The first section is personal information.

Click the pencil icon to open the editor and make your edits.

The headline and summary sections are optional, but they can be a good way to quickly introduce yourself to employers.

Think of the headline as a way to show your qualifications in a short space is possible.

The summary could be a short paragraph or a bulleted list that highlights more of your relevant skills, accomplishments and experiences.

Both fields should be specific to the job you are applying for, so you might want to update these fields every time you apply for a new job, take your time filling out the form.

Read every question carefully and answer them truthfully.

Indeed requires you to include an email address, but it's also a good idea to add a phone number if you have one.

When you're done, click save the next section is work experience.

To add a new job, click the plus icon and fill in the fields Indeed, doesn't force you to fill out every field, but it is best practice to do so.

The Description field is where you get to sell yourself to potential employers so don't miss this opportunity.

Be specific.

Focus on your achievements.

Use list to make it easier for hiring managers to read your resume.

Add it.

Once a skill is added, you can click the pencil icon to add your experience level.

When you're done, click Save you can ADM or skills by clicking the plus icon and typing the name of the skill indeed, will make auto fill suggestions that you can choose from.

If you want, remember to always be honest and Onley add skills that you actually possess.

Next, you can add any certifications or licenses that you hold depending on the job that you are seeking.

This might or might not be important.

For example, some jobs might require you to have a driver's license the next section.

Additional information is a great place to add things that don't fit anywhere else, such as volunteer experience.

At the very bottom, you can add even more pieces to your resume, such as links, military service and more.

Now, let's look at a few additional options near the top of the page.

You can click the about me tap toe.

Add information about what kind of job you are looking for, indeed says that filling out this information helps him match you with job opportunities, for example, indicating that you are ready toe work lets employers know that you can start immediately.

The resume privacy settings lets you choose whether you want your resume to be searchable by employers.

If you decide to make your resume private, employers won't be able to find you, but you still will be able to submit your resume with your applications.

You can also download your resume and indeed even lets you choose different templates.

Downloading your resume makes it easier to proof.

Read your work and it allows you to share your resume with employers who don't use.

Indeed, when you apply through indeed, you always have the option to use your indeed resume or to upload a different one.
