But what I'm talking about is the immediate future, meaning next season with the Lakers is the reigning defending NBA champions.

Clay Thompson was out the whole season.

You know how much he's chomping at the bits with all of these cats doubting what this brother could bring to the table because he got injured and all this up.

Steph Curry being out last year they went toe five straight NBA Finals.

They won three championships, including won back to back.

And you got folks talking about Steph Curry and Clay like like we forgot who the hell they are.

Let me tell you something right now.

They are going to wreak havoc on the MBA.

The Onley thing.

I'm telling you right now, the only thing that's gonna stop them from just wreaking havoc is injuries and and obviously that that's that's applicable to anybody.

But I don't see.

I'm telling you right now when I look at the Golden State Warriors and a lot of it depends on who they draft as to whether or not I'm gonna pick them to win the whole thing.

But when I think specifically about the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony Davis was clearly that difference.

The difference now is you can't his defensive prowess is it that can't be applied to the Golden State Warriors because their weight snipers.

There's a couple of things.

I have a lot of respect for the Golden State front office.

So that's why I said, as of right now, we don't know what they're gonna do with that pick.

Right?

And and Wiggins, Does Wiggins have any trade value, or would you need to use draft picks to get out from under?

I think probably he had some trade value.

Maybe so.

I need to see what they do with this team.

Do they keep Wiggins because he's athletic and he's played better defense for them than he has in the past, Right?

Do they do they keep that guy as a kind of athletic wing and package the pick with something else and bring in a nest ablest player t to pair with Draymond?

Do they think Wiseman has the motor and also the skill set to Thio to succeed in this MBA?

And then we have to see how that develops.

Yeah, If you said forecast, what do you think is likely?

Yeah, I think it's likely the Golden State front office will figure it out.

But I'm talking about right now what's on the team right now.

It's on the roster.

Is Clay coming back from a serious injury?

It's not an Achilles, but you can't just be like, Oh, he tour the A C L.

He'll be fine.

We don't know what he's 30 years old.

Let's see him be the player he was with Steph coming off injury, and I think they'll be okay.

But, like, let's see it with Draymond, one year older, who was already not quite what he'd been a couple years ago with Wiggins, who's not Iguodala, right?

He hasn't been around the block and won championships and one finals M v p.

And established himself as a defensive stopper and all that stuff.

And obviously with no k d.

It's a very different team.

And when I look at the Nuggets, I see all their key pieces ascending.

You have to predict you'd say, Is Porter gonna be better?

Murray gonna be better.

Yoke.

It's gonna be better.

Yes, Yes, and yes, and I just watched two of them.

Murray and Yokich play a grown man ball when it mattered most.

Well, first of all, let me say this to you.

Let's not discount Draymond Green.

There's no slippage.

There was a disinterest in the season because Clay was out.

Steph was out very early in the season and and Kevin Durant had departed for Brooklyn.

So the fact that the matter is you knew you weren't going anywhere last year anywhere, anyway.

This year it's an entirely different mentality.

Is back to the business off championship basketball?

I'm not sleeping on Draymond Green by any stretch and little I got you.

I don't need you to buy it.

But I got the other element, though.

James Wiseman.

That's right.

When I finished speak, You got James Wiseman.

If the whoever you draft Draymond Green could come in and he conserved the role as a tutor Ah, counselor, a teacher, all of those different things to go along with those dudes I could buy that Draymond Green could do a lot of the things that we've seen him do.

Justus Well, as ever before, like I could, but I don't know if I don't know if I do, but I could like it's not impossible.

And also you're right.

When he looked interested, he looked like the old Draymond green instead of an old Draymond green.

I'm talking about three or four years ago, they could really play five out, and I always thought Draymond was actually pre Kevin Durant.

Draymond was actually the second most important player on the team because he was Steph Curry's pick and roll partner.

And he was shooting because Curry and Clay created such spacing with the not just their outside shooting but from how far outside Harder for the defense is to recover and get to Draymond.

He was shooting like 38% from three.

He doesn't shoot from three like that anymore.

Playing five out for the Golden State Warriors is not the same as it used to be When I say Draymond is not quite what he was, that's what I'm referring Thio.

Well, you're right because in 15 4016, he shot 38% from three in the last four seasons that followed, he shot 30% or less from three.

So it's been an Achilles heel.

That's something he's got to change and he knows it.

But I would I would remind you they still managed to win two championships thereafter, despite E understand that.

But the point is, if you've got somebody toe, help him on the front court and you unleash Dre.

I'm sorry, Clay and Steph with somebody that could do something offensively for you in the interior.

It's not quite K that somebody should is still good enough waste.

Even if that somebody can't shoot.

Then what made the Warriors special?

Playing that five out with the death line of pre k.
