Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles I mean not listen. Bob is no stranger. Toe hyperbole, he says. Spence and Garcia are gonna fight each other, he said. I'll put this guy in the ring with him on the same night. He gets rid of both of them. Um, but he also did say something. And you have to understand the 50 year span that Arum has more perspective to qualify certain statements than anybody in the sport. And when you reflect now on the four Kings of the eighties that era of Sugar Ray and Tommy Hearns and Hagler and Iran and everybody fighting each other, there's an argument to be made that Bud Crawford fits in with those names. You know the reason why I put Bud Crawford as the pound for pound number one fighter. First of all, let's just look at the sport in general. There's a lot of belts. So you got guys going up in weight classes, winning straps. But are they fighting the best guy in that way? Class? No, they're not. And they're getting all these accolades and they're getting all this praise and everything. And there's different circumstances, different different weight classes. So once you get on that powerful pound list for me. When you get that with your resume, then it's the eye test. From here on out, it's the eye test. You know, a lot of people saying Canelo because Canelo went up. You know, five weight divisions are went up three weight divisions and fought for the title and and one, you know, five world championships or four world championships in different weight classes, and they're giving them that praise. Yes, I get that. But the circumstances are different for Terence Crawford because people don't want to dance with him. They really don't. And I don't think you know what. I was optimistic, Dre, about the Spence fight happening, but now I don't think it will have you agree with what Aaron is saying? That Spence. We'll keep avoiding this not just the politics of box in the business of boxing, but that he'll stay away. I don't know if I agree with that, I'm gonna be a little bit more optimistic. I think that fight is gonna be made. I don't know when, but I think it's gonna be made and and hopefully it's still. While both fighters were in their prime, Terence Crawford can fight in any era. That's why he's the top. That list is now. He's not just a guy that can fight now. He could fight in any air, and that's saying a lot because we have some great fighters who are. We're just built differently. But I also think Errol Spence can fight in any Aero spent. His record is not something you just brush over. Both fighters are making their own lane, both fighters. I believe we're gonna be Hall of Fame fighters. I just hoping, believe that some point at some point soon we get to see these guys fight Mark Joe. I understand your comparison to the Four Kings era wish it was like that. But the expectations or with the fighters? It's incumbent on them. It's incumbent on the public to expect guys to fight each other, not to not fight each other. It's got to stop. That's the whole point. Think about legacy. Think about challenge. Think about defining yourself. But Crawford came in here tonight, still with what he says. The haters were contagious. Say what you want. We saw that I test a plus plus destruction in the fourth round of Kell Brook. Terence Crawford is 37 0 with 28 knockouts, and he passes the eye test every time. Number £1 for pound fighter in the world back. Thanks for watching ESPN on YouTube for live streaming sports and premium content. Subscribe to ESPN plus.
