As the season gets started, do you feel it?

Do you feel like it's a new season?

Yeah.

I feel like obviously it's a quick turnaround.

Um, things are obviously a lot different, but no, I'm just super.

So you're like a lot of other people back.

Well, you had.

I was gonna say it was a short off season.

People barely had time to catch their breath, But you had time to do something very important.

You signed a five year, $195 billion extension with the Celtics.

Obviously, that's a great referendum on what you have done so far in your career.

But it's also an investment in you for the future.

What time of pressure are you putting on yourself by signing this deal?

Um, yeah, I just I look forward as a partnership.

Obviously.

Obviously, this is where I wanna be for a very, very long time, and I was glad that we were able to make that happen.

You know what I do on the court?

Um you know, and be ableto, you know, inspired people.

One compete for championships.

It is more important than you know.

I guess the money and things like that.

You know, if you go out there and, uh, you know, compete and accomplish all those things, you know, the money will come on.

I'm super grateful for obviously is life changing myself Deuce and his kids.

But, you know, I'm more focused on basketball.

I just love the game on that has Well, I'm sure Celtics fans appreciate hearing you say that, but I still gotta ask, Did you make any big purchases?

I mean, something you had to have given yourself for that deal.

Oh, no, I e haven't got anything.

Uh, I don't spend any of my, uh, MBA money.

I think it all invested.

So always them.

So, no, I'm still stacking it up.

That is a good strategy.

I did want to ask you about your team because you've had guys in and out, right?

Gordon Hayward's not there anymore.

Kemba Walker not gonna be able to start the season because he's taking care of that knee.

How does that change things for you guys?

as you try to get off to a hot start here.

Yeah, I think it it, uh, it can ask the elevate everyone else's game started myself.

Oh, you know, we gotta pick up a second.

The new guys, you know, we got t Kristen.

Um, you know, veteran guys have been doing this for a while.

Even the rookies, you know, everybody has to be ready to step up.

He's uncertain times.

You know, we've got some guys out, especially the start of the season.

We don't want to fall behind.

I wanna get off to a great start like everyone else.

So he's going to get more from everyone.

Well, I don't mean to invite you on here and then hit you with an investigative gotcha question.

But, Jason, I'm just gonna go there I am.

Did you really grow two inches?

I was a lot more nervous, but excitement is still there.

And just just a I love playing this game.
