Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles hi and and quite we're talking about sort of that that the team remained poised and remain positive even when the Lakers went on their run. Um, and then that sort of you get in a rhythm, sort of that that you know that settling down there, um, what did that feel like out there to you? Um, it's basketball. It always happens and runs. Team's gonna make runs. It's part of basketball. It's There's no secret is no surprise way Just way. Kept playing Where Really what it came down to. We kept playing mhm cream Move over their own G. Congrats on the wind. Um, you had said in this season Look, I got in off season toe work out again my shoulders feel good. And you told Matt Barnes and then that you were gonna show people you're gonna come after guys was a little bit of what we showed tonight. Especially in that second half when you were going really hot. Yeah. I mean, I just play basketball. Um simple is that I just played basketball. I applied the work that I put in this off season. It's not gonna be pretty every night tonight. I got it going and was able to show a big, big talk for my team. Thanks, Paul. Go toe toe. Mayor. Uh, I didn't have a question, actually. Oh, your hands up. Let me lower your hand. Go over to Justin Russo, then. Hey, Paul, Congrats on the win and outstanding performance tonight. Was there something you or the team saw in their defensive coverages to allow you to get to your spots like that tonight? And how good do you feel that the offense was overall this evening? I thought it was great. I thought we got great shots time at the time. We got the shots we wanted, um, again being aggressive. We put the ball on the ground. We attacked way. Found the open, man. Go to 10. Hey, Paul, Congrats on the big win tonight. We talk initially about how much surge have rubbed off on zoo. I know it's only been a short while, but how much is stored? Ibaka rubbed off on zoo. From what you see, Um uh, I mean, he's just, you know, he's a good bet. Rizzuto. Half someone that, you know, successful in legit, certified at that position. Uh, somebody you know you can look up to and you know someone He's very vocal. Helps you out a ton. So I think in the long run, we'll see the you know how big of an impact, Uh, surges for big zoo. And would you elaborate on the balance between being aggressive and let the game come to you Look like they needed you in the in the third quarter there. And you kind of came. You came with your game. Would you elaborate on that? I mean, I'm gonna be aggressive regardless, if I see place where the shot is there. If I have moments of being aggressive one on one, I'm gonna take it. But I'm gonna look to make plays. It's not that I'm not gonna be aggressive because I'm passing, looking to break team down, look to get to the paint, make plays from their ifit's shot is open for me. Um, and if it's a one on one situation, I would take it. But it's just reading the help. Um, you know, trying to make my teammates better. Goto, Amanda, Congrats on the wind. I have kind of a two part question in regards to be officiating one. How did you feel about it? And to What does it mean to you that the team kind of overcame 29 personal fouls to still have really strong defense and win this game? Um, Game one. I thought the officiating was great. Game one. Um, You know, um, we just kept playing. We didn't allow, you know, foul calls. It is a bit of both. First game for both teams, obviously opening night. Um, you know, both sides gotta work through condition and being tired of being fatigued. A lot of just ticky tack fouls on on our behalf because, you know, guys are fatigue. So, um, the officiating was great. Um, need a good job for game one. We'll go over to Thomas Thomas in Good. Hey, Paul, have a two part question. One. You mentioned that you're back with your trainer s O. That would help with your rhythm. And you thought it would help your rhythm. And I just wanted to kind of get your thoughts on that. And then the second part, I want to get your thoughts on just shooting in the arenas without the fans. Now that you're back in the arena and the depth perception and kind of how that feels for you. Um, well, it feels more natural, you know? It's not big l E l e d lights behind the back boards. Um, it feels more natural is different. Not having things, but it feels more natural. Arena, uh, just the whole process leading up to games. You know, shootarounds regular for normal shootarounds. Normal. You know, the drive going to the arena, its's a routine. Um, you know, Game Day is a routine, Um, and sorry. What was the first part of the question? And the first part of the question was just about your rhythm coming into the season you mentioned last. I'm sorry. Earlier. This kind of, you know, kind of this new second part of this season this year that you were back with your trainer of old, um, and that you were kind of getting back into your rhythm. Um, yeah. I mean, uh, last year, coming to the season. You know, I didn't I didn't get a chance to have a summer toe workout. Um, you know, basically was inactive for about 33 months. 3 to 4 months. No basketball whatsoever. on DSO. I just really just got, you know, thrown into the mix. And when season came around last year, so had all season again to train to get back on the floor to move around on bond, you know, work on my craft. So, um, it z different coming into this season.
