We will be showing you how to mirror using an iPhone S E and a MacBook Pro.

First, connect your iPhone to your Mac.

In my case, I will be using a lightning to USB C cable.

Next.

Open quick time on your Mac.

Click on file at the top left of the screen and scroll down to new movie recording.

Ah, screen should appear that says movie recording.

Click on the white down arrow in the center right, and your iPhone should be listed as a camera option.

If it isn't there, try disconnecting and reconnecting your phone.

Select your phone as the camera, then tap on your iPhone.

Your phone should now be successfully mirrored.

If you want to take a recording of your phone screen, you can press the red button in the center.

You can also mirror your phone to a Mac with an app called reflector.

This app works well for mirroring videos.

Just note that there is a free week long trial, and during the free trial, there will also be a watermark on your screen.

Start by downloading reflector three onto your Mac we will link where to download from in the description below.

Choose Reflector three for Mac on the top left.

Once you've downloaded the APP, opened it up on your Mac.

Next, open up content on your iPhone that allows for airplay.

I'll use the YouTube app swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hit screen, mirroring in the center left, then tap your Mac.

Ah, four digit code will appear on your computer screen.

Type that number into your phone to confirm the mirroring.

Your iPhone content will now show up in reflector on your Mac.

You can record on Reflektor by clicking on the red circle on the top right of the screen.
