But Derrick Henry rushed for 2000 yards on the season. And in that pivotal moment, Marcus, he did not have the ball for the Titans. Hello. I'm an emotional right now. Are you Tennessee fan right now? Because I know they're like, Why did he get the ball? Mike, I just got to go with what I know, man, like this. Like, for all of the answers that the coaches will have, let's make it simple. You just saying it. Derrick Henry in the backfield like, Let's get to yours, fellas. I know they've been stuffing us. I had 40 for the game, right? But, Mike, we're trying to go to a Super Bowl. We had the playoffs. I'm not about to give Lamar Jackson them this ball back, either, because at some point you get Justin Tucker. We're talking about them pushing the ball down. At some point, you you only got 30 yards to get Justin Tucker in field goal range as well so look, it hurts more that you lost the game because now you say we should have went for it anyway. But I'm the Tennessee Titans. The Tennessee Titans, with Derrick Henry, didn't go for 1/4 and two in a playoff and he didn't get it on 32 but that But that's the thing that hits me as a football team and then a coaching staff. Do you think it's easier to sit back and go? We didn't get to the next round because we punted or we don't get the next round because we gave it to one of the best backs in football that if he gets the ball and falls, he's going to get two yards. If they stop us, they stop us. That's the great thing about sports and football. Sometimes the other team is better, but as players, you always sit there and go. We wanted the chance. We wanted the chance for our coach to sit there and go. Y'all are better. I believe in you guys to go get us two yards and that's the and I feel like the regret that's gonna hang out there. Let me do this, though Okay, that's gonna be there because they lost. But can we get some credit to this Baltimore defense? Thank you, Thank you. But they held him to 40 yard right. He went over 2000 for the season. He averaged 164. Gives them the last two games. And, oh, by the way, what was the final score of this game? They only give up 13 points. Let's let's take care of the game of football because I way have Thio. Because as much as I'm still kind of reeling about Derrick here, we're not getting the ball 40 yards. Y'all like this Baltimore Ravens defense, and we talked about it a little bit before the game. Mike, when If you don't stop this part, if you don't limit this point, you have no chance. The Ravens learned that from last year. Now all of that game, right? You stopping the one year he was averaging 1.8 yards per carry at one point. So yeah, that does creep into your mind as offensive coordinator, but Dan has lauded Arthur Smith, who I think is a phenomenal offensive coordinator. That was the time for him toe either say I'm all in or I'm a lose by saying to your point, I didn't gave their hearing the ball. We didn't pick it up. I can live with that, Mike. I can't live with a plan for two with a 2000 year old Russia that's 2 50. I think the most impressive thing with Baltimore's defense was there was nowhere to go with. The football is a runner like they Marquez made the point. They set edges and then they condensed edges. The big fellas in the middle were fantastic. They flow to the football, but play disciplined on the backside. And we do have to give some credit to the second areas. Well, because early on, Tennessee won that battle. A. J. Brown won that battle. We were sitting there going, Oh, they've got a problem and they said, No, we're gonna continue to play man coverage and trust that our guys will win And they did. I think that Ryan Tannehill will regret the interception because we were talking. I'm out of turn into the game to overtime because A. J. Brown or we're gonna lose because A J. Brown didn't do it. And the fact that they didn't give him that chance. That's tough for me to say. It hurts to Mike on the interception play, Brown had this man be one you wanna be. I'm talking about touchdown problem. Not just not just that's the guy. Thank you for watching ESPN on YouTube for live streaming sports and premium content. Subscribe to ESPN, plus.
